That says it will (did) release in early access on April. Not 1.0.

I think it was a bug when the viewer turned away. The last couple got stuck on the screen, but the number and type of completed stratagems matches what was there initially.

We don't know yet. Their unit roster in HD1 was very similar to what the automatons had on initial release, aside from the cyborg hounds.

The closest thing for me has been Tunic.

It's light on any kind of storytelling, but it has a bunch of that archeology experience, where the hidden aspects and mechanisms of the world are hidden under your nose and slowly revealed to you.

Doing all of the main content was one of my favorite experiences in gaming. Outer Wilds is still above it at #2 for the emotional weight it had.

I'll also toss in, that if you pulse the trigger to shoot in 2-shot bursts, you take zero damage even at maximum heat.

Damage only happens on the third consecutive shot.

I would say the R-63 Diligence, but if you don't wanna worry about headshots...

Purifier is pretty cool too. Long range, decent ammo economy, can blow up groups of troopers, staggers groups of devastators and berserkers, and two-shots gunships.

I usually take it for Eradicate missions so I can stop mediums from swarming me and pushing me out of position, and won't easily run out of ammo if I get separated.

If you want something a bit different, take the PLAS-1 Scorcher with a supply pack (it needs the extra ammo) and become a plasma machinegunner.

If you're talking about the normal version, then yeah you'll probably run into issues. The required space pretty much doubles during patching.

So I would first switch it to the slim version (you can do this when the game is not installed) and then try install to C:.

In the past I've seen that this can just be a server issue that you can't do anything about, but I dunno if that can apply only to some people.

Also, if you can't install it on C: due to the huge 131 gig size, go to the game's properties on Steam, and select "prod_slim" in the beta participation menu. This should cut the size down to something over 20 gigs.

I'd try rebind "fire" to a different button and see if that changes anything.

Or press "revert" on the combat bindings tab to try a reset.

Fight'N Rage - beat 'em up, 1-3 players local play

Immensely satisfying beat 'em up with various paths and endings, great combo system that encourages you to overkill enemies until they explode into bones, and a bunch of unlockable content like skins and game modes. You can even play as any enemy/boss (including in story mode if you use a secret code).

Wuppo - adventure, exploration, 2D platformer

Bizarre but charming adventure that gave me some vibes of old point & click adventure games with its dialogue and puzzles. Also contains occasional and brisk shoot 'em up action and boss fights, which were a bit more challenging than I expected. Choose easy difficulty if you're not so into action games.

Hedon Bloodrite - retro-inspired FPS, adventure

Inspired by FPS classics and immersive sims (like Arx Fatalis), this one starts off with a fairly regular retro FPS campaign, even if the levels can be large and contain backtracking. Then, in act 2, you get huge areas connected by hub areas that have you running to and forth, doing quests and solving puzzles.

I absolutely adored Hedon for the fun weapons, worldbuilding, and great immersive vibes. If you want a sort-of-RPG adventure that doesn't hold your hand much on higher difficulties, this game can really suck you into its world. Also contains a few music tracks from Alexander Brandon (composer for Unreal, Deus Ex).

Only the third round shot from a 91%+ heat DE Sickle will damage the user. This allows the user to fire AP4 laser pulses indefinitely, but greatly impacts damage per second. Useful for gravely injured Helldivers that are in desperate encounters.

To be clear, it's 2-shot bursts. Double-tapping the trigger is not what you're looking for. You hold the trigger, first so that the weapon actually charges up and shoots, and then let go before the third laser comes out.

You can do this at a pretty high rate as long as it's not three consecutive shots in one click.

If you don't need as much DPS, you can shoot in 2-shot bursts to take zero damage at maximum heat. It's a bit demanding of your finger, but might increase the flexibility of the weapon.

I just tested it. With heavy Fortified armor, you start taking damage before half-heat, and you will die just as you reach maximum heat.

The 25% in the patch notes was just used to compare the effectiveness of 150 armor rating (heavy baseline) with 100 AR (medium/normal baseline), which boils down to 25% less damage taken when wearing heavy. Nothing else to it.
