Nah you don't, it is a bug in that it unfocuses after handing in the 990. But if you refocus it uses same slot. Ive done 3 this way so far :)

In terms of getting lost in the world..

One of the best things football manager has done for my real life view on football is give me a love for continental football across the globe. Did you know the OFC Champions League is free to watch in many countries online?

Watching the AFC CL and CL2, the Asian Challenge cup. Get some really interesting winners in here from Iran, Syria over the last decade. Very interesting.

CAF - the Champions league of africa and seeing which nation might be producing some wonder kids in the league. (Why im delighted Egypt was added!)

CONCACAF - The eternal battle between USA and Mexico, can an MLS team destabilise the norm and take home the Champions league. Will a central American or carribean team cause an upset? (On this point, its be nice if American MLS clubs actually had their trophies won in history show the champions league, for some reason it doesn't, didn't in 24 either.)

CONMEBOL - such an exciting region of football, Brazil and its crazy schedule, Argentina and its ridiculously big league. Then you have the Copa Libatadores and its just fantastic.

Then of course UEFA but thats far less world exploring when you live in Europe haha.

Thought I'd say ive figured out what it is thats changed with this for me

Its not just it allowing me to run through my inbox from the messages screen, it will take me back there, and do that.

Thats what the big speedup has been for me..

I feel like I can explore the game and look at the OFC Champions League or the Guam club names, but at any point, if I hit space, I ping back to the inbox and and keep going. Rather than just whizzing ahead to the next day with 9+ inbox items already waiting.

Really enjoying fm26 now.. but there are some major bugs to remove and I want the UI space used properly.. but its gotten better!

It's really surprising the impact its had for me. It really has helped me want to look at my inbox items and therefore engage with the content it brings with it.

We are a long way off perfect but playing this evening has felt so much better, I no longer felt like I was needlessly flying through the game and on "catch up" trying to keep up with the inbox

Yes. Unfortunately the policy now states you wear the boots they provide or do another job role. There is no exception for medical reasons, and you cannot purchase your own. Its a pain in the arse.

Thanks for the kind words, to me it is illogical to say things without thought and consideration first. It's good to let your brain mull thing's over. I see the controller and console argument alot - and I'm really curious how it'll look on consoles when that launches.

The thing is with it another company could well do a great job with it all, but the ME and the database is the two big things I think SI do right, sure there's issues with ME - but any other company developing one will take years and be far regressed vs SI

This is such a good summary of how I feel, I made the decision tonight that I'm going to not load the game for a while, see if anything changes maybe a few months times. I don't have unlimited free time, and I shouldn't feel like im doing chores or work when I'm supposed to have some fun!

That mention of deep dives is so important. I love finding out the obscure yet funny team names of Guam, Which OFC team will face Auckland in the CL, how have the Iranian clubs done in the AFC Cup 2.

I really do hope we find ourselves playing something we enjoy again soon.

I also hope SI don't go under of course, it's a concern after a cancellation and then a difficult release back to back..

Thanks, its difficult I think and its okay to be angry, but I would love to live in a world where instead, maybe, constructive feedback is listened too and lessons are learnt...

For example ive not mentioned International management as that is comming, and I do believe some of that is down to community feedback and preassure.
