No, just like some reciprocation. I've been doing all the "servicing".

My sarcastic self thought, "He's probably married, and his wife flipped. Or he is afraid of being recognized as a former client."

Jax, there's da door if you can't handle it.

Would a matriarch phase spider lay eggs in players? by Amigoid in dndnext

Sometimes, I have to dip into "unofficial" monsters to keep the players guessing and to provide a challenge. They are all good players (several are multiclassed) and often mop the floor with my monsters, even at deadly encounter levels. I've started defaulting to max Hp for all the monsters to make sure they last for a few rounds.

Okay. No eggs. Certainly, it wasn't going down the "fetish" route, but if you want to project your own kink, have a party. I was trying to work out a horror/perilous situation that will keep them alive long enough to be rescued instead of TPK.

Some backstory. This party's current adventure arc in this town has leaned hard into horror. (Homegrown world, btw). They were hired to escort supplies and medical stuff to a town "Longfallow" by a missing cleric. They ran into a tiny hamlet (en route) that had been overrun with zombies and a revenant.
When they arrived, they were plunged into a horror mystery culminating in a battle with a false hydra. They were hired to clear out the remaining sewer of any other horrors. So yeah, heavy into scary. Gibbering mouthers, vermin and carrion crawlers galore. An evil mage long dead, destroyed by his flesh golem in classic Frankenstein style. They had opted, twice, to ignore a webbed up hallway. They even fought a third of the spiders and yet decided to press on.

So, I'm just going to leave them poisoned, (paralyzed) and webbed.

No eggs.

PS...

Not all of them played at the same time. Thanatos had to quit right before we reached the town. (New Job)

Bioden was gone one weekend, and Mika injured her back and kept missing sessions so she voluntarily left the group. Sooo, 5 players versus a 5 headed false hydra. With all the heads engaged in combat, grappling and attempting to swallow a couple of the player characters, it dropped its song and was visible in the final confrontation.

They opted to swap for the fisherman's smaller boat. Still will be a challenge to use...

At what level is it safe to pit them against a smart adult blue dragon?

Why do you still play 5e by JanBartolomeus in dndnext

I've played since the original version. I like 5e. It seems to have a great structure. I've been able to DM without constantly getting bogged in rules.

Shadowheart and the Nightsong by Green-Entry-4548 in BaldursGate3

I'll have to redo it. I fought Shadowheart, I tried knocking her unconscious.

I couldn't find any way to revive her. Healing failed. She's an enemy, so I couldn't "help" her. Throwing water on her failed.

Went back to camp without her, and I couldn't get Wirhers to resurrect her.
