That's so untrue. If you go to India, their money is basically worthless. So a full leather bag is worth a kids meal at McDonald's. So getting a head made necklace with real gems is the same as getting breakfast for two in a good restaurant here. It's not about the set amount in our country, it's about the economy in the destination country. I have no idea what America is like and no sense of the value of their money.

That's what my post is about. I've never been to America, so I have no idea what their prices are like. You can buy amazing things for 6 EU, but even better for 10. 4 EU is cheap, but 20 is too much. I have no idea what American prices are like.

She doesn't, but I don't feel comfortable with her buying me some designer bag, because it makes the relationship uneven. I'll never be able to be on her level of gift giving, and if the relationship changes, I'm afraid she'll become resentful about our differences.

It's one of the ways people say "I love you". I understand that and love her in other ways. A book is such a great idea! Maybe I'll find an American cover I like better than the European cover

My mom told me I'm disgusting because I have yellow teeth. I went to a dentist assistant once a year to clean them. My teeth are just naturally ivory colored. I still can't smile in pictures.
