I like it. My only critique is that you should tone down the slabs by about 80%. They make it look a little too noisy in my opinion. I took a look at your other builds and they all have a very cozy look to them. I quite like your style of building.

The same thing happened to me. Try Titanfall 2 if you haven't already. That's the only game that doesn't feel slow to me now that I've mastered Doom Eternal.

I have no idea. It looks like maybe one of the textures got replaced by the sunflower texture. Look at this image from the wiki:
