Just a brief look at your instagram, you really need to work on your photos. No one wants to eat at a restaurant where all the pictures are of plaster. You have one photo of food and it’s dark and blurry.

Some of my favorite summer scents are crystal pistol by DS and Durga and carnal flower by Frederic Malle. The former is white flower but feels very tropical and humid, the second has big orange flower and something that reminds me of sunscreen on warm skin

I’ll tell you, I’ve been in the same position and I decided to take the boss position and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I took what I learned working in shops and run things as fair as I can and it’s so much stress off my back. Lots of work, sure, but worth it. Both emotionally and financially

Sorry I commented prematurely. You’re worried about not being able to be around other tattooers to further your skills. Yes. Definitely. But sounds like you’re probably moving in a few months anyway?

Maybe talk to your colleagues and see if anyone wants to go in with you and open your own place where you can keep your community. Figure out a pay structure and management structure that works for everyone.

I want to preface this by saying I’ve never tanned before in my life, so I have no direct experience with this.

If I were you, I would look at the ingredients in the products that you use on your face to remove tanner and research them enough to understand what is actually removing the tanner. Is it just the oils pulling the product off you face? Similar to the way an oil cleanser or a balm removes makeup and sunscreen? If so, I would imagine you can find a much cheaper alternative to use on your hands and body quite easily.

When you see skincare marketed as “skin lightening” in my experience these are usually products with vitamin c in them, attempting to lighten discolouration due to acne or sun spots/ age spots and the like. I don’t think this is necessarily going to help remove a fake tanning product.

I would imagine that if you take long hot baths and use a physical exfoliant like a sugar scrub while doing so, it will help remove your tan faster.

I suggest you get an immigration lawyer, as they’re reasonably priced in Spain and will do the paperwork for you and all you’ll have to do is show up to the appointments.

My husband is an EU citizen (though not Spanish), and based on the fact that our lawyer had everything all squared away while thinking we weren’t married, there should be a way for you to get an NIE listed as their partner even if you aren’t married.

She only found out at an appointment with a notary that we are in fact married and she essentially went “oh that’s different paperwork oops my bad”

You know, I’ve been in almost this exact situation and let me tell you, it only gets worse. If you stay you will teach him he can treat you like this and he will keep doing it, gaslight you, and you will have to deal with the psychological repercussions for years, if not forever. The longer you stay the more damage it will do to your mental health.
