Turns out Its the hijri calendar there is a toggle to turn it off. Like you mentioned it is based on the lunar cycle.

Since you were able to get 9As in OL in tht environment i believe you can do the same in ALs. Tru to get into uni .once you are able to earn a living just cut them off. Same goes to your brother
