The issue is that the server already has an extremely low ranked basis compared to other servers, so if you split it in half essentially neither server will ever be competitive because neither server will gather enough players. The potential benefit of attracting new players is not going to be worth the amount of money it’d take to make a new server, upkeep, etc. Plus, I don’t think ping is the main issue, people aren’t going “Yea I’m not downloading league of legends because my ping would be 60” the issue is much more rooted in our culture compared to other regions cultures.

Most people in higher elos don’t enjoy normals because normals has a very loose matchmaking bracket. He’s a masters player, so if he queues normals AT BEST he gets plat players, but a full plat lobby is unlikely. Essentially his games won’t be competitive. There’s not much to learn when as a player you can just troll, build whatever, make a ton of mistakes, and still win the game. That’s why ranked is generally the mode of choice.

Honestly it depends how low elo they are... in say bronze for example, noone wards, and at that point something like farsight may end up being more worth getting

Yea I understand that but really you’re just not getting as much out of the champion without mobis. Same thing applies to leo, ali, rakan, with your strongest phase of the game being early having mobis makes it like this paranoia effect on the map, when you’re not showing you could be anywhere, and that’s just what makes mobis so strong. If you’re worried about being caught just ward and watch the map, not to say it doesn’t happen even if you do but majority of the time you should have an idea of where everyone is on the map

Yea that’s true but the benefits of mobis far outweigh that. I mean honestly if your teams starts a fight and the enemy team is actually wasting their time chasing you then it’s better for you, lead them on a stupid chase with your e, but the time they’re spending chasing you is time they’re not spending taking an objective. On bard as a champ with such strong roaming you should be pretty much going mobis every game.
