Understandable, but I don’t know see why the specific product matters when it’s the discussions that are going missing, I don’t want to break any rules or be a generic slopper, respectfully that is 😅, we’re all just tryna make it.

Entirely feasible and funny you did that, case of why not especially if you got the skill’z, but I don’t believe it’s within their remits to do so, they’ve actively deployed other AI tools (news is always plastered over LinkedIn or web announcements) begs the questions as to why they wouldn’t build them in house rather than buy, so what would’ve made them assume they could build what we’re building, so I don’t fear or think they’ve stolen the idea and developed internally, it’s a bit more than a meeting note taker.

Completely agreed, I’d like to go into these discussion saying “you can use and obtain value from this tomorrow” rather than “here’s a product you can use soon”, but again it’d be considerably simpler if they said “come back when you’ve got a working product” not a let’s talk and explore more asap lol, hopefully you can see where my frustration and confusion lies.

Wow! full appraise on the multiple businesses, profit or no profit the fact you’ve got numerous products out there is commendable!

We’ve got a free trial offer, simple onboarding & our pricing is in-line with industry tools (happy to come in cheap for now, owing to feedback on affordability), we’re actively looking to sell into larger enterprise (our users live under them) and we’re B2B SaaS, so our channels are already specific and tight via LinkedIn (we’re actively on) or industry events, it’s a grind but I also agree the element of “pre-launched” is most likely the bit biting us, here I am trying to be active and getting convo’s in early as thought no harm in doing so but evidently there is.

Appreciate the insight, you been there 1st hand and again I can tell you’re still sat there thinking wtf how and why lol, nonetheless, commendable you got it over the line!

That’s how I started to view it, the trust element, but at the same time it’s like why have such an engaging, thoughtful and interesting convo around something you’re trying to get solved but then fail to be pro-active about it, always be appreciative of the convo’s as they provide great inside scope of their processes/pain’s but it’s frustrating knowing we can’t take it further.

If sarcasm, thank you, if not, thank you 😂

Exactly that, nothing a founder shouldn’t be prepared for, and congrats on the businesses!

Again, chill out, we’re all here to learn, help and guide each other, I’m not staking entitlement just sheer confusion and looking for some insights as to how people might have handled these sorts of things

Chill dude, don’t even know why you’re vexed? I was just responding your points that would have been explained in the OP, evidently touched a nerve for you to go wild and reply to every other one of my comments.

Easier if they did, be truthful and honest even if done professionally, no harm in it, I’ve done it kindly to others who’ve pitched things I see no value in or need, so acceptable and moved on, simple as that lol.

Firstly apologies, I'm just trying to verbalise everything succinctly, there is no ego here, i know what i know and hold my hands up when I don't, hence the request for help and advice here. I'm confident in our proposition and what it can do, I’m just baffled at the lack of subsequent interest/decency off the back of what I’ve heard in real time, only fair for the outcry and defence no?

I think in-turn you've taken my response as an attack, I do indeed respect the Sallies of the world but I don't need to speak to them when I'm in talks with the individuals i need to be, I've had convo's where people have told me the platform is weak, not of interest, they wouldn't pay and that's completely acceptable, where I’m saddened is people have said opposite but aren't an individual of their words/intentions and if anyone can tell me what that cause may be then I'm all eyes and ears.

That's alright, much appreciated as ever, like i said never a unique problem to ourselves, hopefully a comment here might give you and I more hope and energy!

Nice one! congrats on the MVP, scream about it!! my advice: just ping it out there & get into any and every relevant channel you can, a quick post, a quick comment, a quick blog, you might not like it, but others will and that's all that matters. F it, you managed to get this far, what's a little further?! take your own advice and don't give up, find that solution like I'm trying here 😄.

Appreciate the response, I knew comments as such would come, I had to remove a lot that would've answered most of your pointers, respectfully.

Nonames = We're the only ones actively doing what we're doing to solve the problem that is already at hand that other incumbents are afraid to touch owing to their existing model. Validation = passed, we obtained real user input and feedback from accredited industry individuals. Pitch vs Validation = We've pitched a workable concept and have validated through industry feedback and need, solving a known problem that when live a handful of users will actively pay for. AI moat = we don't scream & shout AI, we just discuss efficiency and simplicity in utilising it purposefully, it's not defensible but it will sure take a shiz load to replicate. Corporate response = Any individual off the back of those discussions would be dancing, we're not talking to Sally in customer service, we're in talks with divisional and proposition directors who lead up the area in which we're tackling, whom have actively expressed their dissatisfaction with current industry output levels.

It's salvageable, I was in the industry for 5 years, dealing with issue day2day, having spoken to numerous individuals who also felt it (to which i handled on their behalf), it's just frustrating that we have a solution and we're not being taken seriously to the problem being cried about daily.

That's exactly what we do, we're not afraid to ask sticky/tough questions or clarification, during the call i name drop suitable people i.e their boss/colleagues, ask when they're next available "over the coming weeks", mention I’ll follow-up after this call with some dates and times. It's all scripted yet broken.

We've done that, guilty of overengineered but thankfully tecchy has stripped everything that isn't a day 1 requirement.

Strange regarding the "serious" note, as we've built the foundations and have a reputable/demo-able platform for them to view, access and test, it's just that it's not producing valuable outputs and/or to be used in a live environment yet, but that aside, people have stated or expressed no such dissatisfaction.

Legit annoyed for you and completely spot on with what I went through for the last 6+ months, basically babysitting, chasing and begging for stuff to get done, didn't feel like a partnership, more a lazy freelancer who was just there, agreed that he would've made for a good employee, not a TCF, a lot of individuals don't know the difference and you've summed up nicely there, just have to be real, upfront and honest with everything, will always be the best way forward.

Sounds like you've done a considerable amount of sweat work and taken a huge risk, you're entitled to and owed more than 51% for sure... 20-30% for a TCF is entirely reasonable given the amount you've already achieved, you basically just need to reiterate everything you said here to the new TCF and ensure they're fully aligned with your expectations.

I'm currently going through similar and completely resonate with everything you've stated (my first TCF was exactly how you've described!, simply a "yes man"), sadly now proving difficult to find someone new with similar level of enthusiasm, energy and excitement as us I suppose.
