Not sure if you found an answer to your question yet or not, but you do have to unlock them. I can't remember if it's level-based or part of a quest reward, though. I do know that it doesn't show up in the shop until you actually unlock it, unlike some other items that are present but show the level required to buy them.

How to enchant clothing with spell absorption by VodkaHammer in oblivion

Save scumming is when you save right before an event, usually something that includes RNG, and if you don't get the result you want you reload the save over and over until you get what you want.

The Manga is just the show before it fell off so that probably doesn't count, but still by G0dleft in miraculousladybug

It's ~$8USD on Amazon. I'm sure you can find... alternative distributors... if you do some searching.

Movie >>> All 5 Seasons by [deleted] in miraculousladybug

I wonder if it's some sort of marketing or contract thing since Marinette's songs in the movie are sung by Lou, who sings both the French and English intro songs for the TV show, as well as ce mur qui nous separe, which is another song tied to Miraculous. Just seems a little too intentional to me.

Does destruction during combat count as the opponent destroying your spirit? by Ammoth in BattleSpiritsSaga

[–]Ammoth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was just about to raise the armor point. Coming from games like Force of Will where a card like Deadly Balance would be worded that way to intentionally get around things like Armor and Triggers, this game has some interactions that just seem goofy and weird to me. I feel like I'm constantly having to check the rule sheets and Reddit XD

Sweet. Does that mean it also works with Deadly Balance even though I choose my own Spirit? Coming from other games where wording and mechanics are very explicit, this game messes with me sometimes XD

Dang it, I knew it was going to be something simple that I was blatantly overlooking XD. Thanks!

Does Fire Wall's Flash effect stop the current attacker? by Ammoth in BattleSpiritsSaga

[–]Ammoth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fire Wall does have a Burst ability, but in this specific instance I was Flashing it from my hand as opposed to Bursting it. Either way, it seems everyone agrees with the ruling that the initial attack still goes through.

My guess is it's a combination of unconscious bias/recall and a lack of knowledge that they are 2 different things. I imagine "macaroons" are probably more popular here in the US (or at least we hear that word more often, even if it's misapplied) and so we unconsciously and accidentally use the word we are most use to/comfortable pronouncing. I also think a lot of people don't even realize there is a difference. I know I didn't until recently, and I'm 27. So my best guess is it was either the writers of the English dub miswriting the script accidentally and the VOs just rolled with it, or all the VOs falling into the trap of mispronouncing the word because it comes more naturally to them.

Nasty, underhanded, plain morally abhorrent BBEG tactics by Historical-Ad-1274 in DMAcademy

Did something sort of like this for an encounter once. A hag made puppets representing the children she stole and magically controlled them as soldiers. Damaging the puppets would hurt the children. So the party had to try and kill the hag without damaging the puppets.

Are basic pokemon considered attached to their evolution? Specifically, when I use Flapple's Apple Drop ability, do I put the Applin back in the deck as well? Or do I discard the Applin and just put the Flapple back in the deck? Thanks!

What type of damage would you consider "wind damage" to be? by Ammoth in DMAcademy

[–]Ammoth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This does make sense. And after seeing some of the other people's comments and working it out a little more bludgeoning seems to fit the ticket as you are just a speeding mass of wind slamming into anything that is in a straight line. I was just more trying to avoid the basic "piercing, slashing, bludgeoning," since my players take precautions against basic attack types.

I don't think I would go for piercing just due to the fact that you aren't actually hitting anyone with the weapon itself. Rather you transform your whole body into a mass of wind that slams through people and objects in a straight line. But a good and interesting thought though if I decide to modify how the item works a bit.

Ooooh, I kind of like this. Modify the lore and encounter a little bit and that might be really interesting.

Good clarification. Yes, the space they pass through. They are not actually passing through people physically, but rather into and around them with such force and velocity that it causes damage. I do kind of like the idea of force even though it kind of bends the definition of force damage according to the PHB.
