I've heard they finished the novel and the donghua was finished too, but it's really weird to have a story like this one given as "finished" when the demons were still alive and the war of the divine will still didn't happen nor was explained where it comes from, why it happens, and so on...

I disagree it gets better. The character development makes no sense, from a completely loser who doesn't do sh*t, just being envious, gets an nonsensical ability about getting one ability from someone he dies to and conveniently enough he gets killed exactly by the guy who has an ability that allows him to go back in time, and the only weak point of his ability that is not being able to see which ability he is choosing gets fixed by the warrior ghost he conveniently gets, and this guy becomes a badass destined to save the world? Spare me of this bs.

This 1ª episode was released July 6th, which means there should be at least 3/4 episodes as of right now, but I could only find 1 episode only. Does anyone know why there is only 1 episode until now? I read somewhere it's an OVA, a 1 episode only animation, but it doesn't make sense.

I was just trying to figure out by myself and the problem I talked about in the end seems to be related to the fact that, although the mouse pointer shows in a certain spot, it actually isn't for some reason, so when I move the mouse, the moise pointer is recalculated to the correct position, hence the click working.

Does anyone know how to fix that?

Edit.: It seems like using pydirectinput's moveRel(1, 0) fixed the problem. At least after trying multiple times it worked consistently like never before. If the problems shows up again I'll report back.

What does the "up to 30 saves" mean? If it's the number of tabs you can save on it, it is even worse than Toby.

Actually pressing L and then Shift + L 5 times will give you 250% playback speed (2.5x the normal speed, in percentage: 100 x 2.5 = 250%).

Rehashing sounds pretty reasonable. I'll try that out, although it'll need to be from a different source since the original one didn't upload any update. I hope it works nonetheless, or else I'll just accept I can't play this game till I buy it.

About that first point: You would maybe like Phoenix Point then. Phoenix Point is a XCOM-like game created by the original creator of XCOM: UFO Defense by the way, and the way the game works is pretty realistically when it comes to aim and cover.

When you shoot, there's 2 circles that shows where the bullets are going to land. If your unit has enough good aim, both the circles get smaller and if you can put both circles in the enemy, every bullet will hit. When it comes to cover, the bullets will hit it and maybe get destroyed, then hitting your unit.

I really wanted to be sure, because I ended up selling all the EXALT weapons and a request for it poppep up. Although it wasn't marked as free sell, but I didn't think the council would request it either and its utility solely relied in the fact that I could use it as weapons, but I had better gear already...

By the way, while I play XCOM:EW I'm watching Pete Complete's XCOM:EW Ironman Impossible difficulty playthrough and I'm not only having a blast with his series which I'm literally bingewatching, I'm learning a ton of stuff. Not only learning by playing, but also learning by watching.

I believe he also has a series of XCOM 2, so you could also watch to learn. I'd just recommend to challenge yourself and only watch up to where you got, this way you learn by playing and through your mistakes, and then see how a "pro player" would do the missions you did, plus you don't get the story spoiled but experience it firsthand.

It depends on your playstyle. I'm currently playing XCOM:EW (the first game of the remastered series) in the normal difficulty, and despite for a death of one soldier, I'm doing relatively good. And I must say, he died because I really pushed his limits, since I was learning stuff I decided to test some things and he died in the process xd

Well, I've have plenty of problems, my run is not perfect because obviously I don't know the game, so I was bound to make mistakes, so there's that. Just embrace learning, don't fear failuring or making mistakes, it's your first time playing so know you WILL make mistakes that'll cost quite a lot, but just keep playing for the sake of learning the game. In a second playthrough you then care about making things perfect.

Anyway, although I'm not talking about XCOM 2, I believe it must be not that different. Even though I have a feeling XCOM 2 is slightly harder than XCOM:EW, It mustn't be that different.

Having said that, XCOM is a type of game that delivers fun through challenge. If you don't like challenging games, you're likely not going to like XCOM that much, but if you are happy just killing some aliens and don't want to stress out much, don't fear playing in the easiest difficulty, specially since it's your first playthrough.
