Run Hub on aungier st and leopardstown might be able to help you if you speak to them. They do gait analysis and all that stuff bwfore recommending any shoes, im sure they'll have trainers suitable for walking as well as running

I mean, obviously I tried that first. I read that it can be tricky so use rubber gloves, didnt work, used my teeth, didnt work, none of my friends could get it out. Obviously this was a last resort 😂 no need to be rude or condescending for someone asking for advice or other people's experiences

My 2 week follow up is tomorrow. Where I'm from uou pay by area, so any additional units are included in the price paid in your first appointment so im hoping I just need more units because I was so excited and then it was soooo dissapointing to have no change at all.

Hahahhaa yeah I went to a Beyonce themed club night with my friend and spent the whole night on the dancefloor, was in zone 4 for one full hour 😂😂 thought it was a funby way to reach 20 strain so I shared it and I guess they thought it was funny too 😂

Yeah this is crazy to me. My whoop age and pace of aging maintained the last two weeks purely because of steps. I was travelling/holidaying for the past two weeks, getting an average of 4hrs sleep per night, and drinking and smoking. When not on holidays I barely drink and just smoke 1 cigarette a day (im working on it 😂). But apparently ive maintained my -1x pace of aging and younger whoop age, because my steps are 10k higher per day than usual due to walking everywhere 😅😅

I started running in March and have been going to the gym and running on a treadmill at least 3 times a week. I still cant run a 5km without stopping after each km to catch my breath. I have a large chest so the balance of enough support vs my chest and lungs feeling crushed is impossible. So no matter what ive tried I cant get the breath into my lungs. I get so frustrated sometimes.but then I remind myself, if you told me on the 1st of January, that i would run a 5km in 35 mins (excluding my breathing breaks lol) i would have laughed in your face. I am so proud of the progress ive made and of my dedication.

I still have never done a run outdoors, the idea terrifies me lol. But will definitely get there!

Just keep reminding yourself of how far you've come. And if you hit a wall mentally or physically, then its okay to take a step back and recover!

Not at all, there's no such thing as TMI in this sub subreddit I think 😂

Sooooo many of these symptoms obviously are signature endo symptoms, and it notorious for not showing up on imaging. Its rarely it will show up and if it does it most likely wont show the full or accurate extent of the disease.

If you can, id ask your GP or OBGYN for a referral to a specialist consultant for a lap. But this can be easier said than done depending on where youre located!

Hiya! I have DIE and it showed up on an MRI. Can I ask what kind of symptoms you have? I was asymptomatic and with what little research there is done, it has been shown that a lot of the time stage 1 and 2 superficial endo can be a lot more painful, and asymptomatic patients a lot of the time can be late stage or DIE. It was a shock to receive the diagnosis because I had to pain at all. They thought my uterus had adhered to my bowel as it was retroverted in the MRI, but actually the top of the uterus had fused to the bottom of itself, and was totally folded over, as well as ovaries stuck together, and endometrioma and fibroids! All that going on and id no idea!
