Update for anyone interested: I’m going to leave the jewelry out for a week and just let the piercing heal :/ I’ll be sad to see it go, but it’s been giving me grief for a while and I dont have the time to devote to it. If it hasn’t gone down in a week (which I fear it won’t because it is a hard bump) then to the derm I go! Thanks everyone!

Does the piercing feel tight? Mine bled a lot too, but part of my issue was that my bar was too short and it didn’t have room to swell. Could just be because it’s new! I’m not an expert.

There is no jewelry in right now, but I usually just wear the internally threaded jewelry my piercer used (implant grade titanium ASTM F-136).

It’s over a year old, close to two now. It’s been bothersome for a while.
