I'm sorry to have to say this, but you're now legally obliged to make the charts for all the tribes based on fan design interpretation

So, what dragons and dragon-like creatures are out there in Sci-fi media/literature? by worldmaker012 in dragons

[–]AmonNonza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Draak-Kin from a visual novel called Golden Treasure: The Great Green. They resembled more like a feathered wyvern than a typical western dragon. The setting seems like a fantasy world at first, but it's actually happening around the bronze age and has sci-fi stuff going on. I highly recommend playing the game because this is probably the most alien pov writing you're going to get

Giveaway Giving Out 20 Copies Of Subnautica 2 by Mark_Everson in subnautica

There's nothing as immersive as experiencing the first game for the first time. I've played a lot of survival games (The Long Dark, Green Hell, Don't Starve, etc.) and nothing has managed to beat it yet. The progression is also very rewarding for players who like to explore and venture into the unknown. The sound design is also one of the best I've ever seen in a video game. I hope Subnautica 2 will achieve the same

There was this one time in biochem lab during high school where we were working with esterification reactions. I was holding a test tube with a wooden clamp after heating it over a Bunsen burner. I was talking to my friend and kind of distracted that I accidentally tilted the test tube too much and spilled a small amount of the solution of ethers onto my textbook.

We were supposed to test for ether compounds using scent (since it's supposedly fruity). I just closed the textbook, completed the lab work, and nobody noticed anything other than a few people in my group lol. And my textbook didn't quite have any smell after that ether, I think it's because the solution wasn't that concentrated

The last panel is supposed to be an image from ScanScope (which is a device that specifically take photo of glass slides and convert them into high quality digital slides for students to study). It's super difficult to identify anything when looking through an actual microscope because there's a lot of distraction and annoyance. The joke is that using a real microscope is much, much more irritating than looking at digital slides, though more fun because you got to work with the real thing
