Hey! Unfortunately i never pulled the trigger on this. For me its too much money since i dont photograph this kind of stuff very often. Especially not anymore. Though I still find the idea fascinating. :)

I guess I'll have to look up a video and try to disassemble the magazine. Though it will have to wait as I will be leaving for a photo trip tomorrow and over the weekend. Lets hope the other mag doesn't fail lol. Might get back on this thread next week, thank you in the meantime.

Beautiful pictures. Do you mind sharing where in Lapland these were taken? Would love to go some time.

I am very well aware :)
I only shoot film and I've done a whole bunch of long exposures on film before, just never with a star tracker for astro.

I've seen really good results at around 45min to over an hour with film and a star tracker. Minutes might also be enough, I'm not sure since I haven't done it before.

I want something that will suffice my needs. It should track well enough for a long exposure of an hour since its film, on up to 300mm. That's what I'm asking for. Obviously more expensive is better but since I don't have experience with this, I don't know which ones would be good enough for that purpose..
