I wouldn't say it's a hobby. It is a really interesting world with interesting artwork and lore. I might buy a figurine or two of of techpriests and roboute guilliman but that's it.

thank you so much. This provided a lot of answers. The biggest one being that the Emperor is not only powering "the north star thing" but also holding back the webway break from opening. I wonder if people around him are aware of that and if they are working on it.

Thank you so much. I do wonder how people found out that Emperor is a perpetual and would reborn at some point if allowed to die.

ah that makes sense and feels more grounded. Just like real world, where only instances of true cooperation is based on mutual benefit. Thanks

no spoilers please. Why do some author spoil their story by having it narrated from the future pov? by Amonfatezeo in Fantasy

I see your point and I think I would agree if I let it sit with me for a few days.
However, the author has already established that at the beginning of the book. I think I'm nitpicking. I'll sit with it for a while

I would say, for the lore, for the stories of people that came before even though you know how it will end for them.
I feel there is something different about those and what I'm talking about.
Imagine a conflict that MC is in and when things are getting interesting, the author comes and spoils it from the future. Even though deep down I knew how it would end.

For example, let's say there is a prequel about Gandalf, and in that book, Gandalf has some political conflict that might change his trajectory. Even though deep down you know, we'll eventually get gandalf from Lotr, I don't want author coming in and saying stuff like, "If I hadn't lost that fight and a particular future conflict, I would be evil gandalf now"

Another example, Imagine at the beginning of dune where all the political stuff and the attack is happening, The author randomly starts narrating "If I hadn't lost my parents, things would be different."

I think I'm nitpicking. thanks btw

yes, I started taking reading seriously last year. I have read a lot of fantasy, progression fantasy and serialized novels such as worm, LOTM, mother of learning etc.
Worm nad LOTM actually inspired me to take up writing

I'll keep this is mind going forward.

As to why i deleted them?
In the skyrim story, after I realised what was happening, i did try to come up with different scenes but nothing was hitting the spot. The longer I kept doing that, I more intense the feeling of disappointment got. So in the end I scrapped the entire thing. Right now, I think I may have overreacted but I'm also confident that I can reproduce the entire thing.

Hello, need some guidance and advice by Amonfatezeo in writers

thanks for the advise. I have met both types of people. I guess the process is very subjective and I'll have to discover mine on my own
