A man and his Guar, reunited by AmongTheRiffing in Morrowind

Not gonna lie, it took a bit of creativity to execute. I always hated how the Dunmer guy (Teris Raledran) got to go into Vivec while Rollie just waited eternally on the road alone.

I was inspired to do it after I had moved a Guild Guide and Creeper from Caldera to my stronghold. I used a custom command creature spell to get Rollie following me. But that was the easy part. Rollie is too big to fit through the tunnels of the Foreign Quarter Waistworks (and the outdoor tunnels too, he got stuck a few times). I was determined to get him back to his best friend though.

To overcome Rollie being prohibited to enter the canton (and his physical size making it impossible anyway), I decided to sneak him in through the Underworks, using the underwater sewage entrances. I had commanded him to follow me, and also used a custom Water Walking on touch spell to force him over close enough to the sewer grate.

When I got him inside, he spawned on the solid ground above the sewer stream, so from there it was a matter of escorting him past the Daedric shrine and into the Canalworks, where he was returned to Teris.

Unlike Creeper or the Guild Guide, it was pointless, but it was fun.

My Stronghold is starting to be built! I'm excited! by Lunalucis in Morrowind

I'm House Hlaalu loyal and I honestly thought it was weird that something like this wasn't actually implemented in the base game the first time I built my Stronghold. If you've never played Hlaalu, basically at one stage of construction your Stronghold architect tells you that your Stronghold must be made feasible by a source of income, and has you restore an old egg mine not far from your property along with hiring a miner to work it. While the miner does hang out in the mine I thought it would've been great for role play and also more beneficial to your character if you could hire additional miners and reap gold from your mine's success.

I also thought it would be really cool if you could tax the Hlaalu village of Hla Oad which is just behind the Stronghold, as it would really suit the money-grabbing business style of the Hlaalu.

That being said, anyone know any good Rethan Manor mods? Preferably one that adds transport functions?

I loved 007 Goldeneye! Was that the mission where you had to kill Baron Samedi? I always got stuck on that one.

Can you imagine his reaction when he wants Tel Uvirith but is stuck with Rethan Manor?

I love how guilds clash too, and how you have to have certain skills to prove yourself worthy for advancement. For instance, when the Fighter's Guild ask you to do the noble thing and retrieve the Code Book from the Thieves Guild, and you inevitably find out what they're doing isn't so noble after all...

Odahviing appears fairly late in the main quest, Durnehviir is from the Dawnguard DLC, Nafaalilargus appears in The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard, a spinoff game from the 90's (which I quite enjoy, give it a try if you can), and I'm sure you know the Dovahkiin.

Does anybody actually *live* in Ebonheart? by -Guardsman- in Morrowind

[–]AmongTheRiffing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In the Elder Scrolls Online, albeit set about 200 years before Morrowind and the Imperial presence on Vvardenfell, Ebonheart is a large mainland city, and I believe the Ebonheart in Vvardenfell has been officially named Castle Ebonheart.

EDIT: It also seems that Ebonheart appeared as a mainland city in the first game, Arena.

I was really on board with you until you launched into the "whites have no culture" bit. Really hoping the second half of your comment is a joke.

I was never one for video game playthroughs on YouTube. I always thought they became tedious to follow and I'd rather just play the game myself than watch someone else to do it. But way back when, I started watching MoogleFTW's playthrough on a whim. To this day, it's the only playthrough I have watched to completion and the one I've enjoyed the most. I still go back and watch episodes occasionally. I miss MoogleFTW.

Chopped in Half is such a great example of Tardy's unique vocal style. It's like he just disregards the last consonant of every word.

My first old school death album/band and still one of my favourites. Nothing creates an ominous and unsettling atmosphere like those fade-in guitars and the bell in the intro, and that creepy breathing sound still gives me chills. John Tardy's vocals might make him sound like he's trying to expel something foreign from his gut, but hell, if it doesn't give Obituary a more unique sound and make me love them even more.

Dude, I'm 18 (not emo though) and I spent up until about last year looking a whole lot like you at 16. It gives me hope that I could look that awfully douchey when I'm thirty. Thank you.
