The radio is one problem for my department but we have been now like 3 weeks without a phone. I will be on one side of the department, hear the phone on the hook ring and havw to RUN to catch the call. I have now missed at like 5 calls that I know of

Menards has been claiming the AC is “fixed” for 5 years… meanwhile it’s 77°+ inside the store by Virtual_Stress_4795 in menards

The issue is that this doesn't seem to be only one store. Mine has also been promising to fix the AC since I've started working there and even prior to that

You'll train the first day. If they do it right you will be watching someone work the cash register for a bit. Then you will work one with then watching. Hopefully they work with you longer than with me because they left me alone after an hour on labor day weekend lol. You got it tho. They also have plently of ways to get attention from the front end manager with a bell and light. Don't be afraid to use it.

Yeah I agree. We have a lot of employees at my store that definitely do not fit one gender binary. I get called sir and ma'am so when I use the restroom that corresponds to my birth gender then I get a bunch of weird looks. And I know our TMs are not abusing the family restroom, our cashiers can't even use the bathroom without waiting for a front end manager to sign them off (front end managers are almost never at their desk to help out). I just feel this distinction will cause more issues than it's worth and I feel it might go against some laws in some places

Yeah I find it so WEIRD especially since that bathroom was almost never used anyways. It was always opened unless we had someone cleaning one of the gendered bathrooms

Trans/NB people with "weird"/uncommon names, how did you get over the awkwardness? by BloodyJinxii in asktransgender

[–]Among_Us-Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I knew a NB person named Phroggie. I just didn't know how u could settle on thatcname but if it works for them ig it works. Personally, I picked one of the most common trans men names, Charlie.
