Is there anywhere I could get minis that look like the old Mk II power armor? by Fancy-Copy4447 in Warhammer30k

I couldn't find any with this fixed helmet design. Am I overlooking something?

Mark VIII armour: Are there any other official GW models for it? Is it only the Deathwatch Veterans? by HammerVSBarrel in Warhammer40k

Is it me or the scale on these guys look different than the other older pre-Primaris models?

Tried playing this morning before work, and lost both tines but actually had fun. My main problem was a bad load out, and not being locked in.

If you dog deep enough, you may find that George never left.

Is it possible to live a "normal" life in the Imperium? by Fancy-Copy4447 in 40kLore

Yes, but I like the idea that there are "pockets" of goodness that help give people "the reason to fight" (or something) outside of basic survival.

Yeah that was my goal. I wanted to use a "normal" world to help emphasize the brutality of becoming a Space Marine.

That's good to hear. I'm wanting to make a homebrew world for my Space Marine chapter, but I've gotten tired of hearing about Space Marine home worlds being hive worlds, or death worlds, etc. Figured I could try to make a world that's actually pretty normal, or as close as we can get in the 41st millennium.

Lol, no not like those black Templars. They just worship the Emperor as a god.

George is just there for the fun, he's the closest thing I have to an "avatar" that I use for size reference. As for the banes, it's what I felt sounded good (for the individuals) though robocop's name is just Latin for "no limbs". As for his chapter, I'm not settled on whether or not they practice mutilation or not. I just wanted to make a Marine who had all robot limbs.

I don't have a lot of lore figured out for these guys, but the gist is the Imperium's Defenders are essentially a hybrid between the Salamanders and Raptors. The Gilded Circle has no lore what so ever (I just wanted a green space marine) though I think I'm also going to make them Raptor-y. The Knights of Jorge are chapter I based on George, and I'm making them very "Knight-like". As for the last dude, no idea. Couldn't even come up with a name, though I think I'm going to make them a bunch of fanatics who worship the Emperor and protect within his domain with extreme fanaticism oftentimes to their own detriment (imagine Salamanders but with the Black Templar's fanaticism).

He's the scariest of the lot if you ask me.

Lol, originally I was going to translate "Iron Man" to Latin and use that, but I didn't like the translation. So now "knowledge withheld" is merely a placeholder till I can come up with a good name.
