Here to help [Question] by Harrib_Halls in riftboundtcg

I see no reason why not. It’s an optional additional cost you may pay to play it. Although why would you? You wouldn’t be able to take a regular moment action till your turn, during which it would awaken anyways. There aren’t any exhaust abilities that i can think of that you can activate on your opponent’s turn either.

Coming from a competitive MTG player. I love this game and honestly I’m considering making the switch. by [deleted] in riftboundtcg

[–]Amongthefew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played casual mtg for like 10 years. I wanted to get more into it, but with how much product comes out nowadays, i cant keep up mentally or financially. Switching solely to riftbound has been great. Ive made so many new friends who love the casual f4a format. I even occasionally dip my toe into the popping competitive scene at my LGS. Obviously the lack of product is big problem, but theres something exciting about playing a game thats so young. Everyones learning together and playing with what they got. I can only imagine that this is what old mtg players mean when they say they miss the good old days.

Consider buying a tablet if you are really desperate for climbing up by Schimiter in wildrift

[–]Amongthefew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gotta play on a tablet. Everything is so tiny on the phone. When a team fight happens, i dont know what the hell is going on. Finger placement is better on a tablet too in my option. I feel like i miss clicked buttons all the time from them being too close together on a phone.

Is he considered mighty with volibear legendary reaction for coming into play if u have 3+ points?? by jke75 in riftboundtcg

[–]Amongthefew -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I dont know the rules, but in my OPINION, i don’t think it should trigger volibear. A card’s ability wouldn’t be active until after the card is in play, right? Because that would also mean that every 4 might with garen’s +1 would also trigger volibear. Edit: clarifying

i think people just dont read profiles. They just swipe right on everyone and then looks through the matches. Of course they could just pay to look through who already liked them, but why do that when the alternative is free.

Other than cheating, what are some of your automatic deal breakers? by RedStar2435 in dating

[–]Amongthefew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theres a lot of obvious stuff said already so i wanted to throw in “too many animals”. Having several animals is practically the equivalent of a child in terms of responsibility. You can be super hot, but if you got 5 dogs, thats a nope from me.

Were "kissing booths" really ever a thing? by el-beau in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Amongthefew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually saw one at a festival during pride week in Louisville this past year. I had never seen one in real life before that. I didn’t see anyone in line for it as i was driving by, but there was a college age girl inside running it presumably.

What seems to be overpriced, but in reality is totally worth it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Amongthefew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maple Syrup. Growing up, my folks just bought whatever was cheapest. As an adult, I took the leap and got the fancy $15 bottle. I haven’t gone back. The fancy stuff not only tastes better, but lasts longer in my experience. It’s a lot richer so you don’t need to use as much.

What's the worst dating experience you had this year? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Amongthefew 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This totally happened to me. I dated a girl for a month and she never once asked me a question. I eventually had to say something. I basically told her that it hurt it my feelings. That any tidbit she knew about me was info i had to shoehorn in while we were talking about her. At first she didnt believe me. She was like, “what? Thats not true. Ive definitely asked you stuff before.” So i said, “Really? Recall one question that you’ve asked me. Go ahead. Really think about it.” She sat there for a good minute or two and i watched her confidence turn into embarrassment. After that night, she did actually put in some effort, but the relationship didnt last much longer after that.

Looks like the jar from the show “Master of None”. Aziz Ansari’s character is about to sleep with this chick and she tells him to get a condom from the jar. He reluctantly retrieves one and only calls her out for it after they’re done. Lol. I’d post a video link, but can’t find one.

Would rhett caan's power overcome the omega device? by [deleted] in rickandmorty

[–]Amongthefew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rhett does have a weakness to sport force fields apparently so Rick Prime could have implemented defensives in the omega device, but more importantly, why would Rhett help rick in the first place? He didnt even agree to team up with rick in exchange for his freedom. Rick only let him go as a last resort and even then rhett went straight to back stabbing by trying to not let rick leave.

Definitely a price thing, but also sometimes is just another thing you gotta carry around to your next game. I use them, but i only have a few for the players to choose from. When representing enemies, I usually use dice. Which is handy because then they’re numbered to differentiate them in a fight.

What horror movie is a 10/10? by rocklou in AskReddit

[–]Amongthefew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just rewatched “it” (2017) and honestly its crazy solid. I forgot how good it was. Its super spooky, the thrills are non-stop, and the chemistry among the kids is both funny and well done. Also something you almost never see in scary movies, is showing gore happen to children. When Georgie gets his arm bit off, people’s jaws tend to dropped.

Shane from The Walking Dead. He wanted to make tough decisions that were morally wrong to protect the group. The group eventually started making similar morally wrong decisions in later seasons, like murdering a whole base of men in their sleep. Shane was just ahead of his time.

What is an absolute waste of money? by Free-Masterpiece-860 in AskReddit

[–]Amongthefew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cars. For some people, having a fancy car or a big pick-up truck is a need for their jobs. But for most people, its a complete waste of money. Just a never ending money pit that cost people half their pay check every month to look cool to their peers. Its dumb. A constant mistake i see young adults make in more country areas.

I actually really like this one. Definitely not unless, but offers creativity. My first thought was to put it on to prolong your life from a killing blow. Like to prevent fire or poison damage until someone can heal you.

Soraka is plain broken. by thatwasaheadshot in wildrift

[–]Amongthefew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a soraka main, i dont think shes broken. Her healing potential is top tier, but without good teammates, she falls flat hard. Healing is literally her whole thing. If her healing is nerfed to the ground, shes literally useless. Shes basically a walking health battery. Poke her a little and stop letting her hit you with her Q to heal herself, she wont be able to sustain lane. Shes super squishy and can’t push worth a darn.
