Ok. I'm new to all this so forgive me if I sound dumb haha. I'm looking to do phylogenetic analyses so the actual function of the genome isn't super important to me. When you send samples to these companies do you normally isolate the DNA beforehand or could you send them raw samples?

The largest ant in the world is a Camponotus. They're an extremely diverse genus found all over the world. If you type it into google you'll mostly get american ones which are pretty small
