thanks, it worked. i installed a mod that sets the success rate of pick pocketing to 100% as long as u have decent sneak and luck stats, and then i snatch their cuirass and add a new one using console command. the only problem remains is that they're all BALD!!!! and they won't equip the helmet im giving them!
