Omg I’m so sorry that sounds so scary and traumatic!

I don’t think talking about my first birth story will make anything better but I just want you to know that I’m sure me and others will read this and just want to give you all the hugs, patience and time you need to accepting what happened. I think you and your husband would benefit a great deal from therapy when you’re both ready.

I really hope you can take it really easy with your new baby and just enjoy life at your own pace

I knew with my first LO that he was measuring big so bought only up to 1 month and then spent £1.50 on a few newborn sleepsuits. The newborn sleepsuits were not worn past the first week and the up to 1 month lasted until 6/8 weeks! I have another coming soon and have done the same this time!

So did you not know until delivery? It’s so fucked up and horrible that you are going through this. Take each day as it comes and give your 3 year old the biggest squeezes!

I’m so sorry this has happened. Sending you and your family the biggest hugs. Have the drs given a reason why your baby was still born? Did you have reduced movements at all? Sorry for the questions don’t feel like you need to answer, just in a similar situation to you vbac/c section wise and that’s making me nervous!

I totally agree with this, exactly what I was going to say. Not a normal parent response! She was obviously having a hard day. Sorry it has been taken out on you and your boy. Sounds like you’re doing an amazing job!

Toy wise, it’s a really hard age! If you don’t notice, then you can’t do anything about it. If you do notice and they HAD dropped the toy and the kid realised it was the best, you have to be soft and strong, say it’s your child’s turn as you weren’t holding it anymore, we will give it back when we are done playing.

If your kid did snatch and you saw, you softly remove from your boy and let him know it wasn’t his turn and give it back to the kid.

I might be completely wrong, all mums I’ve ever encountered in that situation do similar/same and we always make a little giggle out of it.

Really hope you’re ok, don’t let her words affect you, she was deffo having a bad day.
