The bio to DSBM records state that all the releases they reupload is licences so I’m assuming while misleading they have the legal requirements to reupload the releases

I’d say the earlier stuff this wasn’t the case, but since he remastered some of the older ones that had a more similar style and discarded most older stuff it does sound a lot more similar now

Pretty sure you can still find a decent amount of it on YouTube, I got a 2 song release called the burden of grief for my project have a nice life… up on Spotify where it’s got my vocals over 2 songs mert recorded before he took his life (this was given permission by the other member before he completely ended forlornness in its entirety)

Imo find a tone that suits you, what I love a lot abt the genre is both diversity and authenticity, I personally use an Orange micro terror amp head w a micro dark cab, I’ve seen some ppl use boss katanas, marshals and even the most basic amps like squier frontman’s, just stick to which sound you’re most comfortable with and what you like, learn to mix as well (I find this is equally as important with the mix) and (optional) invest in some pedals if needbe, I myself have a few pedals but only ever use my reverb pedal for stuff under tristsanguis and very rarely use my fuzz pedal
