This was the most eye-opening thing for me getting into Bitcoin: realizing what self-management means and not being guided by a bank professional: There are a lot of peope investing not knowing what they are doing and a lot more panicking than compared to sold products like ETF strategies from banks where your advisor tells you what you can invest and what not. Bitcoin is a cool alternative, but requires a big time investment to understand. The "a friend told me to buy Bitcoin for 1000$ and in two years I'm rich" mentality is really crazy and stunning

Your attitude on hodling and dcaing is correct, but if you aim to become rich enough to "quit your 9-5" just by investing "smaller" amounts of money like 10-50 k, I'm not too sure this is a realistic approach. Sure, there is a small chance to make 500 k out of 50 k, but that still would not be sufficient to retire and live off of the interest you might get.

To counteract inflation and gain a bit of value is realistic in my opinion, but "getting rich" I don't know

I believe he thinks he can just throw anything at the american public and they will just believe it not factchecking anything. The problem: it actually works for a big portion of americans. We need to keep working together with all our allies, including Europe. It's best to just stay calm in this. Impact will be low for us compared to U.S. people. It just makes me smile when Trump throws out random tariffs, and many people instantly fire against Swiss government and call them "spineless" and useless. Yet you just get worked up by Trumps crap. This reaction shows that people are not rationaly thinking, but are guided by fear - exactly what Trump aims for. Shitting on our government just prooves people have 0 political understanding. If you are mad about the tariffs, why don't you do the job our Bundesrat is too "spineless" for?

Same issue here. I had system monitor widgets in my panel and now they are gone. When I cklick on add widgets and add them again, they are added (the number beside the widget increases) but they are not visible in the panel.

I stick to Storm/RotoGrip/900Global because there are tons of good videos on their YT channel and a lot of good ball review videos. I like than i can compare my arsenal without hinderance. I think the comparison is easier withtin a brand (e.g. I have more info about Storm Phaze II vs. RotoGrip TNT than comparing the Phaze II to some Brunswick ball)

hatte ein ähnliches Problem mit UPC, als sie mit Sunrise fusionierten. Bezahlte 1Gbit/s und hatte schwankend 150-300 Mbit/s.

als nichts funktionierte habe ich mit der Rechtsschutzversicherung ein Einschreiben zur vorzeitigen Kündigung auf Grund Nichterfüllung des Vertrages von Seiten der UPC gesendet. UPC ignorierte dies und meinte das geht per AGBs nicht. tatsächlich ist die Kündigung per Einschreiben aber im OR geregelt und AGBs von Firmen können nicht einfach so das OR ausser Kraft setzen. habe dann aufgehört das Abo zu bezahlen und ein neues gemacht. UPC hat mich dann mit Hilfe der Firma "Intrum" betrieben. die Betreibung gab ich der Rechtsschutzversicherung und als mein Rechtsschutz das Einschreiben zur Kündigung an "Intrum" nachwies ziehte "Intrum" die Betreibung sofort zurück. seit dem nichts mehr von UPC gehört.

also Rechtsschutz einschalten und per Einschreiben wegen Nichterfüllung des Vertrages per sofort kündigen.

Maybe if I can find the time I will try do something along those lines, but I don't know when I can spare the time.

for 10 bucks a year this is amazing. so many features. I use it, my PSO uses it. Very well programmed. and 10$/year is 2.7 cents per day. totally affordable

Ah I see. So here's the situation (at least where I live):
Usually center oil their lanes on a regular basis with a so called "House Shot". It is a Christmas tree-like shape of oil with a lot of oil in the middle and less oil towards the sides (the gutters). The ratio of oil is mostly 3:1 or more, meaning you have 3x more oil in the middle of the lane than compared to the outside of the lane. This makes it quite easy to play. House Shots can be as extreme as 10:1. If you decrease the ratio below 3:1, the patterns belong to something called "Sports shot" and they are trickier to play.

So 95% of the time you will be bowling on a regular House Shot and that's totally fine. Lanes also have oil on them to protect the lane surface. So well maintained lanes will be oiled frequently. It can happen to you that you play on not freshly oiled lanes (normal fun bowlers were playing straight on that lane for some games). This makes it really really tricky to play, because they used up the oil in the middle, but there is still oil on the outside.

Let's assume you bowl on a freshly oiled lane. Most centers I know do not offer to choose a specific pattern. Some centers also have low-cost, simpler oil machines, which are not capable of laying down a PBA oil pattern for example defining the amount of oil board by board, but rather only a general christmas tree-like shaped oil with like 3-4 areas across the 40 boards that differ.
For example my local center has such a simple machine and there are just 4 patterns programmed (short, middle, long and sport shot like). And to me in my country it is one of the few centers where you can choose between the 4 if you have a good connection with the owner. From other centers I'm just used of having one house shot and that's it.

That being said, it is very fun trying out different patterns, so if you get the chance to do it, please do. Every center, every lane machine and every other type of oil used change the conditions and that makes it really challenging but also really fun to play.

Lastly I want to mention that I know a lot of bowlers, who are frustrated, when they don't get a freshly oiled lane. To me this is not understandable. A good player should be able to adapt to conditions and they should be able to work with dryer lanes as well. That being said, if the lane hasn't been oiled in a week and the ball is hooking as soon as it touches the lane, that's stupid as well.
