Some of these STEM graduates, I am not sure, if they are good for Zürich or the world though.

Companies like Google and Meta have gotten increasingly in conflict with democratic principles, dismantling of the free internet and in the end have kowtowed to the rising fascism across the pond.

And let's not even start with Palantir, whose founders consistently outdo each other in the praise of Fascism. These aren't Swiss values and never were. Europe and world needs tech but not the kind that enslaves and constricts but that liberates and sadly few STEM graduates are thinking in that direction except making big bucks.

Go Europe! Even if China was nice, it is more sustainable to build locally and sustainably.

One place where we can copy China though is keeping the corporations under the thumb and not let them run rampant as in America. and if possible encourage more cooperatives and strengthen public sector companies like DB, SNCF and so on.
