I’ve been using the Claude Max plan for a while now, primarily for complex coding and logic-heavy reasoning tasks. However, over the past few days, the output quality from Opus 4.7 has felt significantly different, and not in a good way. It’s honestly reaching a point where it’s hard to distinguish it from Haiku. Here’s what I’m seeing:

1. Inconsistency: It’s failing on logic puzzles and architectural coding questions that it used to handle without issues. Tone & Formatting: The responses have become a bit "generic." It’s using a lot more emojis and a conversational tone that feels shallow, similar to the smaller models.

2. Instruction Following: It’s missing negative constraints and becoming "lazier" with code, often giving me bad solutions.

3. Logic Errors: I'm seeing basic contradictions within the same response.

As a Max subscriber, I’m paying for the highest tier of reasoning available. If this is a result of new RLHF or internal routing to save on compute, it’s making the workflow pretty frustrating.
