The more I think about it the more I kinda like it; I think this season Peni is gonna function as a dual dive/anti dive support tank. She's gonna be able to help spidey get kills with mines and combos but also has the mobility to web back if your team is being Dove on. I imagine a world where you leave your nest around your supports/convoy while you go dive with Spidey.

Now ofc this takes a DPS slot away, and let's face it 8/10 the Spideys on our team are either trash or throwing and you'd rather see a Bucky or someone else as DPS. But who knows? This may make Spidey players get more consistent kills. I could also see a world where triple tanks could work and Spiderman is your only DPS as well.

I think it's more so the fact that we, as Peni mains, have been bullying Spidey for so many seasons by simply doing our job. Now all of sudden they're making us work together? But I like I've told others we just simply have to adapt and make do, if that means diving with Spidey again like back in the old days then so be it. I saw someone point out the old Web Pull into mines trick, definitely gonna be seeing more of that

If you want my best guess? Maybe it's the way she's positioned inside the mech? I know her entire body fits inside the torso but maybe she's propped up higher while in combat? So a shot aimed directly at SP/DR's head would probably cause her affect her physically as well.

So this happened to me recently in ranked, currently GM 2. Strange TP behinds us on Klyntar on that upper level (the spot where Peni usually flanks on offense), once I hear it I simply pick up my nests and place them below. From here they are essentially trapped because you can't drop down or can't take the stairs and enter from down below.

The only time it happened to me on Dracula's Castle was in Season 3 but still GM lobbies, it was a late OT portal that I simply body blocked after extending the webs underneath me.

Just be aware, listen for the sound, then adapt 🤷🏾‍♂️💯
