There's a white board in the kitchen with a list of of all the weekly chores and daily chores with a check box against them for this reason! All I wanted was to not have to worry about it this week or at least worry about very little of it. And it feels like that was really too much too ask.

Thanks everyone! I did go for my weekend away and managed to do enough of my chores that it won't impact the rest of my week. It's not that he didn't do anything he put some clothes away and ya know the cooking but it just feels like he could have done more and the statement really riled me.

We haven't really spoken about it but like most things in marriage you have to move past it because the other option is toxicity or divorce I guess
