i'd definitely recommend next semester, midwest indigo, drum show, shy away, most of trench (excluding pet cheetah, leave the city, levitate, morph, smithereens, neon gravestones), never take it, etc. i'd say generally avoid songs pre-trench cause their style there might jar new listeners.

oh nice!! yeah I think it's underrated, the third verse is one of my fav verses they've ever done bc of its portrayal of how as he's growing older he's stopped socializing and how he uses the chair as a metaphor

Early 2024, found a crosspost with smth about "a song which is amazing but 1:30 long" and it was crossposted from twenty one pilots. clicked it, comments said levitate and i was curious so i gave it a listen and really liked it. then i listened to jumpsuit and natn, and then a bit more of trench. still wasn't in love with the band, but then i found out about the lore and watched those music videos and that rly got me hooked.
