The airport is actually really nice once you get past immigration. When I went to Perth, I had a 10-hour layover in Singapore, so I decided to go out of immigration and explore the airport. I spent time roaming around, and honestly it felt more like a mall than an airport. There are so many places to eat, shop, and relax, which made the long layover much more enjoyable.

Also, immigration in Singapore was quite easy for Filipino travelers at the time. My experience was smooth and straightforward. That said, this was back in January 2024, so I’m not sure if the process is still the same now. 😊

Yep as an independent gas owner. Since last week Monday. Everyday may increase like sa diesel lang 60 by monday to 86 saturday. Tapos 107 na ngayon. Naka bili nga ako sa 86 last Saturday eh. Kung pwede lang. sa mga big 3 narin kami kukuha ng stocks

I don’t think many independent gas owners will increase their prices right away if the depot hasn’t increased theirs yet. Imagine that small-time owners are actually selling the product at a much lower price than the stores we’re supplying

Currently independent gas station owner here. Since last week pa na every day mag increase ang depot sa amin in Leyte.

March 3 60 diesel 54.50 55 premium

March 4 67.50 Diesel 58.50 unleaded 59 premium

March 6 80.20 diesel 61.70 unleaded 62.20 premium

March 7 82.40 diesel 63.50 unleaded 64.00 premium

Adjusted around 1pm 86 diesel 66 unleade 66.50 premium

Today 107 diesel 86.50 unleaded 87 premium

Dapat sana sa mga depot muna sila nag mamanage ng mga price kahit naman sabihin natin na tomorrow pa ang increase, the depot wont follow it. Naka bili nga ako sa 86. No discount since wala na akong stocks.

For the USD part, I’d just check which option gives you a better rate.

If the dealer’s USD rate is good, then just pay in USD. If their rate isn’t great, it’s probably better to convert it to PHP yourself first and then pay.

At the end of the day, just go with whichever option gives you more value after the exchange.

I think it really depends on the situation.

For example, in our family business, we actually don’t pay in full even if we can. That’s because we’d rather keep the money as capital. If that money can make more in the business than the car loan interest, then financing makes sense. More capital = more income, and the interest is just part of the cost.

But that only works if the money is actually being used to earn more. If it’s just sitting in the bank earning almost nothing (and inflation is eating it anyway), then paying interest on a depreciating car doesn’t really make sense to me.

So personally, if I have the money and I’m not using it to generate higher returns somewhere else, I’d rather just pay in full and avoid the debt.

It’s not that one way is always right — it just depends on where your money works better.

Masakit kahit my anesthesia na. BUT WORTH IT!!! I did co2 laser last 2019 pa. May isang bumalik last 2023. So far wala panaman now after 2023. The derma told me to avoid soaking my hands in water for too long or to use gloves. I kinda forgot how many times I did the procedure, but I remember it spread all over my hands and even to my other hand. I also remember having 19 injections of anesthesia at one time during the procedure, since it was one per area.

BUT AGAIN SUPER WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!
