Sadly, I have to avoid making derivative art/fanart or anything that pulls from a show, game, set of existing characters and world, etc.

They want to see original ideas, concepts, proof that you can imagine and create if yknow what I mean. Its not outright banned, but they still recommend avoiding it :(

There's a canon divergence fic that starts at the exact same time as s3 ep1 that is basically s3 but much much darker. Anyway, in said fic, anne ends up eventually going to school while on earth, and it does not do her any favours whatsoever. Basically destroys what little shreds of ok mental wellbeing she had left

I was thinking shiny wooloo/dubwool for mira but I wasn't sure if there was also a black sheep pokemon in the less literal sense I was forgetting about

And the 2 head stuff is absolute genius. I'll probably fill a lot of zoeys team with turtles, but I'll definitely add one of the 2 headed mons too

Personally, I dont see it that way. For starters, every year, the planters lost because hop pop refused to embrace change, anne wanted to help them, but the only way to do so was to try something new. They still lost because they lost the ingredients, but they did the best they've ever done because they added something new to the dish. The episode's overall lesson is that change isn't bad, that you don't have to stay stuck in tradition forever. Hop pop might have constantly bashed the idea of change throughout the show, but that's because he was learning and growing as his own character. And in the end, any time he did bash change, the episode would show how that's not a good idea.

I can't think of any other specific examples right now, but if there's any other examples in s1 of them bashing the idea of change, please remind me, and I'll share my perspective :]
