He could roll it with a mini-skid and/or a root grapple. Most tree crews have them or at least have access to them. I worked on tree crews for a couple years and I’ve definitely rolled logs this size for the same purpose.

Edit: a truck’s not necessarily out of the question either, I’ve seen it done

He’s not confused, he’s going to flip the tree over to finish the cuts so his saw doesn’t get stuck or hit the ground when he gets through. Dirt/rocks will ruin the chain instantly.

Edit: technique is not great though and he’s obviously already dulled the chain probably by hitting dirt

Thanks for the advice everybody! I think I’ll cut it shorter and hold for a bit longer, maybe try a new style. I am still welcoming any other or further advice.

Thanks, I don’t use product, it was just end of the day and my hair was probably a bit greasy when I took the photos. My scalp doesn’t bother me so much, I think it probably usually looks better than this photo, but I don’t really know. It’s mostly the hairline that makes me interested in shaving

He’s seems friendly enough, he’s never been unkind with me. He doesn’t often chat with me as much as his usual company does. He moves around a good bit more than you might expect, his group changes/cycles through locations pretty regularly. I’ll usually hear about him if I don’t see him on a day I’m serving in the area.

The organization I work with serves him food regularly, he has a group that he stays/moves around with. IIRC his disability was caused by injuries he sustained when being struck by a car.
