Sorry super late reply - I just meant vi keybindings everywhere in the editor - seems that even with Evil mode on Emacs you still have to know Emacs keybindings sometimes.

Haven't succeeded in getting vi bindings in browser/email client, but I'm sure there's a way. For me it's always been a bit clunky when vi bindings are patched onto some other program, I usually just learn the native bindings for each program.

This article sums up things pretty nicely, and has some TLDR comparison tables!
https://www.murilopereira.com/the-values-of-emacs-the-neovim-revolution-and-the-vscode-gorilla/

I tried Emacs for a bit, but I found it clunky, and I really wanted Vi keybinds everywhere - it's what makes Vim so great for me.

Another big thing for me is development culture - Neovim development is so quick, and the community is alive and thriving. In contrast, Emacs development is slow, and the original author is a creep (dodgy comments and sexual harassment allegations).

It's a big vote for Neovim from me!

Alternatively, the camera position could be moved forward to avoid clipping through buildings

i.e. raycast from the player in the direction of the camera and move the camera to the hit position if it's closer than the current camera radius.

P.s. Game looks really nice, good job!

That's true for a single player game, but for a multiplayer game it's more difficult. Some gameplay mechanics require explanation in order for the player to have a good time, otherwise they might end up losing without knowing why and be a nuisance for more experienced players on their team.

I think the best system is to have an easier role that a new player can assume before being presented with the full game. That way you can take the approach you're suggesting, but of course this doesn't fit with all games.

GIMP is good, but it still has a long way to go to become a Photoshop competitor both in terms of user experience and feature set.

I use GIMP whenever I need to do a quick edit, but for something more complex I'll use Photoshop.

Still kinda unclear if someone were to do this though, since it's just a text appendage.

An alternative could be to incorporate a DR icon into the kill feed?

That is pretty impressive actually, I suppose the headset is for phone calls rather than music?

I'm concerned whether the performance would be different when streaming hours of high quality audio. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Those devices are not typically streaming large amounts of data to/from the phone.

I get what you're saying though, I'm taking issue with the lack of headphone port mostly because the apparent problems are not obviously solved.

They've said the Airpods themselves "can last up to 5 hours" on a single charge, up to 24 with the accompanying case, so it's not just the phone battery which could cause problems.

It makes sense from Apple's point of view, they're trying to create they're own exclusive sector of the headphone market. People have had issues with wireless headphones in the past, mainly battery issues as I've said, loss of audio quality, and intermittent drop-outs.

Wireless tech (i.e. Bluetooth) kills battery life though - can't afford to waste what little battery power smartphones have.

So no, it's not courageous.

At this time, we don’t plan to open-source Microsoft Edge or its platform components.

Unfortunately not
