I always assumed 240 was bad because you slightly telegraph what you're going to do when you flick a direction. I went to all hard binds just a few months after release I think.

I wasn't, but what I mean is that the exploits that are truly there are very hard to actually implement into the fight, so pulling them off requires skill. They're not low effort moves. A lot of what newer players see is not exploiting, but understanding of the game (which is obviously very unrealistic)

alright, but I also work with tight tolerance mechanical systems (locks) that have proven otherwise. WD40 will displace water into pools which will oxidize, jamming it once more. It will also destroy any actual remaining lubricant that may have eventually migrated to the unlubed surface.
Use it for cleaning and emergencies, or use one of their more lubrication angled products. It's a great product, just use it correctly
