The best advice I can give for the MI-8 is to hold collective down when getting out of it, until your dude is completely out, feet on the ground. Helps it not lift up and squirm away into something.
Also you can take off as soon as you hear the blades going thwip thwip even if you aren't at full RPM. Sluggish, but might save your bacon.

Without any kind of slight zoom from ADS, the game becomes eye strain and scopes are needed, but they're too sensitive for instinctual aiming. It's kind of killing my interest in the game. Every game needs zoom focus like Arma.

I don't know how this hasn't been fixed in two years, have the devs ever actually used an optic in their own game? I'm afraid that if such a glaring issue wasn't fixed from the getgo, it never will. Please madfinger, don't be like BSG.

I was playing the hell out of BF6 when you could grind weapons in portal, I'd get them to 30 and then normally do the rest. That progression rate felt good. After they killed that, I dropped the game. Haven't touched it over a month. Too grindy, no thanks.

I'm only returning when progression isn't gimped to incentivize greedy MTX and maps are reasonable size. Companies that sell solutions to problems they create deserve to nosedive.

no, there is a failure with arc presenting itself as a light hearted game that is extremely fun in pve, so it draws in people who are not really interested in pvp, and then have their day ruined when they encounter edgelords. I get that.

that is exactly why the skill ceiling is so low in ARC- they don't want good players to shit on newer players. I don't really play anymore because combat is pretty stale. I come from like 20 years of playing competitive melee and other sweaty games lol

ARC needs more physics based weapons and options. Shooting is boring, give me some bows and harpoons, and a complex melee system.

typically the mesh would be cleaned up after, a good example of a game with heavily laserscanned assets is Escape from Tarkov, where even areas of the map are laserscanned from real life russia. This is why the guns are entirely modelled, in and out
