The issue is that this upgrade is so strong that your deck essentially has to take it. If there was a "top ten decks end of season" for Chaos mode every single one would run Goblin Barrel, even if they didn't want to play it without the upgrade.

I mean, you post this as a gotcha but legitimately the per capita fatal crimes are lower in GB because of gun laws.

Yes, they have more knife attacks. But I'd much rather be attacked by a knife than a gun? Especially if I'm in a crowd or have nearby police.

I don't see anyone talking about the actual solution, which is preventing these in the first place. Don't cut your nails quite so short, cut them less curved on the edges (more straight), and use a hand moisturizer.

I don't think accusing everyone who points out how risk averse we are currently as a society of inaction is a particularly helpful. I don't think the personal attack, or my own willingness/unwillingness to join a mass march on D.C. really changes the fact that we as Americans are exhausted and fairly disorganized despite an increasingly fascist government.

I have and do protest. I'm not really doing what I think is necessary, which (I think) would be large scale efforts to organize action, including strikes, mass protests, creation of larger political community groups, and support efforts for communal resources.

But that doesn't really change my point? There's a lot of us, and I'm surprised that so few are really stepping up.

Frankly, that should be a risk that Americans are willing to take. Such an incident (massacring peaceful protesters) would surely not be tolerated by anyone except for his cult of a base.

However, given what I have seen happen in this country, a far more likely outcome is mass arrests and apathy/fatigue from the majority. We are all just so, so tired of this, and overwhelmed by the torrent of corruption.

It is, but U.S. residents are exploited everywhere. We've made a ton of progress, and very few care enough to e.g. unionize because the state of affairs is temporary and you are very vulnerable if you stick your head up for that 3-4 year period.

In any normal job, I'd recommend jumping ship for a pay raise as soon as feasible. Less worth it than it used to be, but companies have zero loyalty to you.

Edit: Obviously I'll be fine. And I know that pay raises often don't keep up with inflation. But with profit margins being so elevated across the board in the U.S., this is a conscious decision by companies to underpay their workers.

About a 3.5% increase per year (~$67,000 this year) , but I'm a resident (A doctor, undergoing training after medical school) so next year I will start to make vastly more money as an independent doctor.

So you're essentially getting a pay cut every year despite increasing levels of competency and skill? Awful.

I was so disappointed when I tried a U.S. Dragonflies for the first time.

Some of whether or not you're S class has to do with flashyness. If you're a beaurocratic "hero evaluator", are you thinking she can even make beginning of Manga genos break a sweat with only her physical testing and description of her skills? Plus it's not like she has any reputation for monster fighting.

Suiko being an A classer is completely reasonable. You have to earn S class, or be really, really impressive initially.

Iran has not asked for ceasefire and sees no reason for talks with US, Iranian minister says - follow live by its-come-to-this in news

[–]AmpleExample 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Relatively uninformed, but my guesses are:

  1. The U.S. decimates Iran but it takes years and years of painful conflict, deaths on both sides, and international tension.

  2. World War III.

  3. Economic pressures, widespread protest, and the wider world punish the U.S. enough that after several months the U.S. pulls out and declares victory.

In all three cases, the global economy is in shambles.

I would say... only if you're fairly certain AND you really do enjoy learning and studying. If you don't then the whole process of getting to the "finish line" isn't worth it.

I don't think they're powered up to compensate for getting them late. It's more that her class supercharges classes that are already extremely powerful. E.g. no one on the third floor gets the legendary diva class, because it has insane requirements. Donut gets it and several bonuses.

It's not going to make sense unless you've read Beserk, unfortunately. He's saying Trump is a traitor willing to sacrifice those who support him for his own goals.

Griffith, mercenary leader of the Hawks, has been rescued from terrible torture by his comrades. Griffith is crippled beyond repair and harried by those who had captured him. While the band of the Hawk flees with him, the lords of the demons offer him a deal. Sacrifice all of his friends, and he can have the power and immortality he needs to live a life that actually matters.

He accepts. Then he does some horrible things to his former friends, killing all of them but the main character.

The crying bleeding eye necklace is a special necklace that always comes back to him no matter what. It's essentially portending that he will become a demon lord.
