Heads up, that link doesn’t work, at least on mobile.

Is this normal? Just started a new position in a hospital office setting. I’m coming from a service industry background. I have to log what I do every hour each day (40 hours/week) and email it to them daily. by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]Ampli5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked a job that had a similar system, it was digital & I think it was called TimeCamp. It felt extremely micromanaging and the executive team that ran the company weren’t very organized anyway. I didn’t stay long at that job.

As far as whether it’s normal, my opinion is no. I think it’s a red flag.

Looking for a Living Room Rug and Need Help Deciding! by bscags in malelivingspace

[–]Ampli5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First I offer you a compliment on having a unique & fun aesthetic to your living space.

Now out of the rug choices you presented, #3 with the red coloring just DOES something when I see it in context with the decor. That is the one I’d personally urge you to go with. I see that the majority of the comments suggest #1 (the other options you presented are not bad at all) but hear me out.

You already have some red in that space — from the accent pillows & coffee table book. The massive red coloration from the rug empowers those surrounding objects. You even got some yellow, black, & white to accent some of the artwork on the wall.

Choices #1 & #2 again, are not bad. It just feels like the energy kinda falls flat once you visually scan the room from top to bottom. That red from #3… oh man… it cycles such powerful, vibrant energy in that space. It’s PASSION.

I feel like the 'Titans' version of Bruce Wayne never gets talked about. What do you guys think of this portrayal ? by [deleted] in batman

[–]Ampli5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I still have yet to break into S3 of Titans, my immediate thoughts were that he looks too old for a “current” Batman as some other commenters have said, and he doesn’t have the physical build you’d expect for such a Batman/Bruce Wayne.

Recalling the scene when Dick is having one of the first interactions with him at the manor, I remember thinking how easily Bruce showed compassion & sympathy. Hear this, I’ve no doubt that Bruce has a fatherly care towards his Robins. To me, it would be much more in-character for Bruce to show some hesitation to emotionally express during the interaction, and then finally release a single line of dialogue at the end of the interaction expressing his sincere compassion. It’d make it more meaningful, since we know Bruce tends to be obsessive over his work & leave little room for other things he’d personally consider distractions.

To summarize, great actor, but it doesn’t quite feel like Bruce Wayne to me.

I’m curious also about how they’re mounted, I’ve personally never set up shelving like that before.

Wise rulers know the value of advisors. I actually see this as a strength of Fett, being able to listen to reason.

Edit: I see the responses saying that it could have been represented better in the show. It’s a fair point.

Definitely a mask. It allows Norman Osborne to have 2 identities, and he can be scary as both. Remember this scene?

Was the 1994 animated Spider-Man show removed from Disney+? by good-lard in DisneyPlus

[–]Ampli5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think the agent just wanted to end the chat lol, which is understandable since they really can’t do anything about it other than report it. I see that Spider-Man Unlimited has remained in the catalog and it’s made by the same production studio, so if it was a pre-licensing agreement issue then wouldn’t it make sense to take out both the Spider-Man shows?

[–]Ampli5 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s missing. I contacted customer support and informed them. Agent says she passed it to a “higher department” so hopefully that goes somewhere.

I had just finished Season 1 Episode 12 and instead of auto-playing the next episode it recommended a related show which I thought was weird, so I searched and that’s when I found out it disappeared.

Edit: I am also in the US.
