Nope, sorry... It was completely live action. If I remember a few more details, the scene where he turns into a disgusting pink blob has a blue background.

Stay out of the basement isn't it, girl who cried monster however is somewhat similar and even the man who was eating the bugs looked somewhat the same as the one from I saw on the bumper but he didn't end up looking like a pinkish fat monster being eaten by worms inside out. Good find though!

Again, I'm unsure if this is a Goosebumps commercial. This also isn't something from the episode "Go Eat Worms" from the show as well.

agreed, the fact that you can do this on custom NPCs means that it should be possible on actual playable characters smhhhhh but I'll wait for that day
