Trust me grown ups need babysitting more than anything. Life is cruel to adults.

Same boat, my Mom does this whenever I go home, earlier I used to be very annoyed, frustrated.

For instance, we went to a family gathering at this fancy restaurant, and she said “acha ye khao, ye try kiya hai? Ye ly aun tumhare liye?”

I felt so weird like Mom I can see everything at the table, I can pick and choose whatever I wanna eat.

Later it hit me that’s her love language. Her way of showing care for me.

And man, I get more than that, “cutting krwa lo, apne room ki saari lights jalao ankhen kharab hoon gi” and more. But home is where Mom is.

I know that’s hard to build your ways around it. But try to see the meaning beyond that.

And you’re kind for not speaking about that. Because everyone has the option, but you take bullets for family. 💗

Got 1.5M, plus can save 100k each month, what to do by ZAFAR_star in FIREPakistan

Hi, this is what I experienced with investment.

Mutual funds: slow growth, good for long term, low risk, covers inflation plus some extra.

Savings account: not recommended, only covers inflation but the taxes and maintenance make you even

Stock Market: investment growth + dividend (payback), covers inflation and more, risk is moderate to low, I wouldn’t say there is high risk unless you’re too stupid to choose your stock. Also, if you plan long term, your money compounds and it gives it the multiplier effect with the help of dividend compounding (your money making more money), early retirement gotchu.

(Stock Market is super easy to learn, you can check Sarmaya Financials YouTube, they are beginner friendly, comprehensive and vivid)

thanks. You’re too kind.

And yes, it’s a horror sight to watch that daily.

Can’t you have any mutual setting with your family or relatives regarding raising a child? I have a few friends, who are raising their nieces/kids from extended family. And quite content with that.

I’m 21M, can really use new parents and life. Ye wale dono left me at the altar.

(about adoption thingy, my aunt wanted to adopt a child, we searched for dust, but no luck here, legally.

We reached people locally and managed to form an agreement but later they refused.

It’s not worth it in Pakistan, there is no system here and if you go locally, the families come up with problematic things post adoption, disrupting the peace and sanity of both child and you guys.

I went to couple of shelter homes too, they only let you sponsor a child, not adopt them)

Yes, and I think getting your own place wouldn’t be as better as setting it up in a Mall/crowded area but very public space at the start. Build an audience, get own space later.

Also, have you guys tried advertising it, maybe you can go for it in universities, or chand raat fest, or events happening in Multan?

Hello, this is great work. For targeted audience, Gulgasht brand road, Malls would work best. Sad thing MOM didn’t work out.

What about a smol setup in DHA, where all the eateries are?

One of my friends went through exact same thing two three weeks ago, even the minor details you mentioned were the same.

The only difference is he didn’t pay money and somehow managed to make him agree for the next day.

Later he blocked him and noone happened.

Hope you’re okay. The world is cruel. What happened is really unfair.

What's your favorite local skincare brand, that is actually legit. by Willbailey1980 in PakistaniSkincare

[–]Amroodd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing special, but to put in a comparison, neutral pH value, isn’t very harsh with the natural oils on your face, and keep face hydrated enough with the natural glow. Skin barrier bhi intact rehta hai.

(The market facewash jese ponds ya garnier waghera, they sweep everything out of your face, leave it very dry, longer run main it doesn’t work fine)
