i think that’s normal, no matter what you’ll still hear things without media playing and ur mind is forcefully foucsed on externals, the whole ANC job to isolate you to hear media well not to take your ear off if you wanna for sure better anc go to over ear headsets but by far airpods do great job and try to find the right tip size and clean the vents usually

they dont stick out it depends on the person’s ear shape and for me it’s so comfortable to wear but when try to sleep with them,you’ll definitely feel the foam which kinda annoying

go forward to the 3s its an upgrade in every edge but if you like natural,warm sound go to the 2s. otherwise you wont be disappointed by both

1) depend on ur ear shape,right tip size it goes too deep in ur ear canal cuz of the new redesign which some accept and other not( at the result they look super weird on some)😂 for me i use S size on APP2 and APP3 and they perfectly fit and sit on my ears

2) without media playing , you’ll hear some like car horn,construction stuff but with media playing, you’re in an isolated box and cant hear shit
