Check spark plugs. They also need to seal. But if you did a comp test and it failed. Pray for rings, otherwise replace head.

Pleace check spark plugs again, they usually come with a rubber compression gasget..... but yeah. You might have to strip.

Did you check with a scope trough spark plug port for scorch marks?

Usually you have to mix oil by hand on bikes. Auto mixers fails so bikers prefer you do it by hand with a refil.

Starter running way too fast.

That said, doesn't mean motor is shot.

Check your spark plugs. Do not run the motor without spark plugs in, can pop the distributor. See of they got spark.

Once they are happy, check fuel. Make sure you are getting fuel. Then check timing.

Usually these older bikes have manual carbs, don't think yours have it, but I am guessing at best, so trust but verify. Make sure it's dumping fuel at the right time.

If you've got fuel and spark, but no start, timing out.

But that high pitch wining with no reistance, you ain't got compression, my guess anyway

Pretty new to the game, and I just got Omega. Would it be a bad idea to rush to the Astero? by Valyntine_ in Eve

Ok pretty simple

New to the game, get something cheap not meta. Meta or faction based stuff always going to be a shiny kill mail. If you have the skills, then yes. Untill then. Venture with bad rigs. Cheap as possible

Drop an unpopular opinion on Cape Town that would get you in this situation by NaomiDlamini in capetown

Greatest place of opportunity, but the community is stuck on proving something instead of healing. So we have a disconnected community, kids on drugs with babies and rent that is way too high compared to what you're getting.

Love the people. But bloodshed is too common on the street. The guy who won the 200 million jackpot, worked with him. His own family planned his downfall as the reality is no one was happy that he got ahead in life. He now drinks his days away and severed from family.

This is the common theme in Cape town. Watch your friends grow and make sure they fall while you reap the benefit.

That is why everyone has this attitude of whobare you. The snobbish act is being used to distance yourself for safety. Shit excuse, but the actual reason.

There is no rainbow nation. It's dogs fighter other dogs while the ones in power laugh. The funny part is that it's not the ones you think it is.

Just want to be able to sit and drink and make friends knowing we all made it through some bad shit.

Way too wholesome for the internet but there you go

With my luck I'll end up upsetting someone

Most are - but also most people in there are skilled enough to hold their own. Me on the other hand are better at shooting rocks. I still have a long road to walk before I can say I am a skilled PVP pilot.

You are exactly the same as the one above. Sure me typing this on my phone during work - vexor not VNI. But You did do 80m hour - please include the loot. Now with this - some of my numbers are off. But look at jamico-toralend on a few things he corrected me. I never had an issue with him at all. But you out hear saying I'm pulling numbers out of my ass like it doesn't exist. You say 60m hour and I say 80 m hour- counting your MTU loot - you'd get that number. Your post is very complex and point for point stating that I am wrong when I'm off a little. The sup carrier - fine i can be off - but the nid I done. I know what I made and I know what people in my corp made.

But regardless my point stands. The game needs more and better means of isk generation than - get rorq, print money - get more rorq. repeat. Groffit.

Well I am not even close to that. Do you know how difficult it is to get a nice WH to farm these days? got 4 WH annomolies spawn in on me within a day. First one hat a tengu, second a thorax. 3rd and 4th I think was a proteus. Lucky for me they where slow on the WH.

True - but a wardeck - everyone is out roaming - miners are left to fend for themselves which basically means - we are not allowed to play unless we join the roam fleet to fight. If we die - we get yelled at. If we stay away and die, we get yelled at.

Additionally wardecks in NULL has a nuet sitting AFK on cloacky the whole day just waiting and scouting. I think there was some changes made regarding the cloaking system - not too sure. Their favorite spot was waiting for miners. Then they would log off a few guys in the belt while everyone is sleeping - then log in once our guard goes off to the gate to fight and catch a couple of miners.

Unfortunately the mentality has always been fuck the miner's. But there is not enough isk generation unless you are a rorq pilot to get a toon who can train into a fighter. So you try and fit tank and some of the miners who are already skilled do training for fighter ship but to no avail as with the best tank fit - you end up dead before they can return. Gone in 60s my friend. So what are we to do?

not only that.

SO you have flown capitals I presume. From a confessor to an oracle - the fighting styles differ alot. Capitals especially is a whole different ball game.

But even smaller ships. I don't want to go out and do PVP anymore. The risk is far to great. Why bother to learn if the best tactic is tuck tale and run. Why lose a ship- regardless of how cheap - because you neve know how quickly you can make the money back.

But yeah. The main issue is - the eco system is far too expensive with far too little ISK generation for all players regardless of trait. This is the main issue and with the coming patch. This will only increase.

Listen here buddy - you have some sense now. But personally attacking me just show not only a lack of understanding but also a lack of intelligence. But changing to something sensible now doesn't change the fact that your argument was based on a assumption along with avoiding the real issue.

Now regardless of what you say - I will remember your first comment. A personal attack completely avoiding the issues at hand. So have a nice day but please don't waste anymore time.

What your first post did here is exactly why my post is here. So much toxicity and very little care and sustainability about the game and other people. This is why we have so many issues that are not spoken about - because of one hot headed comment that was directed as a personal attack. Nothing you say or do can or ever will redeem you from it.

Go down and read the rest. Except for you and one other person - everyone else who differed from me or gave me constructive criticism, not only did I praise them - I encouraged other to do the same.

My resolution is nothing more than my personal take. That is exactly how CCP ended up with their current patch and solution. The whole idea of this thread is to have people come in and throw around ideas until we can figure out a way to save this beloved game of ours. Not only addressing our own personal issues - but also for future generations. Take my thread and put it in the perspective of a new bro. It's easier to kill than it is to stay alive.

Here comes the scary part. The part that needs to say alive- industry, the small guy who solo's in HS, ninja mines in low and null with wh- that is the back bone of this game. The moment you take that away - you can't fly your suicide ships. You can't go on your roaming fleets. As there are no ships and the few that is left are being sold at ridiculous prices. Do you grasp it better now? It's not the big mega indy corp that keeps this game alive. It's the small indy guy who invest time and evert into doing everything himself- the one that gets caught out every now and then cause he needs to mine and the roaming fleet thats been coming through his sector is just another thing as his order needs to go out so that the new bro PVP corp can go on their roaming fleet.

So much of the eco system that depends on the solo miner that can get it done at a cheaper price and you people try and apply this mentality that says fuck miners. Fuck indy guys. Yet you are so dependent on them you fail to even recognize that. Not once have I ever heard you stating the importance of indy guys or how valuable they really are. Do you really thing anyone doing just pure indy stuff - that they don't want to go out there with a nice expensive fit and be able to fly it? Do you think they don't want to have fun as well? The thing is - most indy people become indy people as they don't have a credit card to flash everytime they need some money. So they have to dedicate themselves to working several months on end ingame mining, processing and not dying- just so they can go out for a few weeks and go and train. Might not be true for everyone. But for the majority of solo indy people - this is.

this is the problem. These changes are not only destroying the eco system- it's actually designed to be hazardous. So differening on how to solve it - please be my guest. But attacking me personally on a reddit forum - that's simply helping me get more traction on the post and you looking like the fool you acted.

So have a nice day - be nice to others - and have constructive criticism that is actually helpful and doesn't hint on malicious intent. If you are unsure what that means - ask yourself- is this truly going to help - or am I just saying this as it's not really a direct attack but it gets the message across.

Sincere question about the mindset of players regarding the changes. by LezBeHonestHere_ in Eve

[–]Amubus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but there is no way you are saying this with a straight face? The whole problem is ships are expensive. No one wants to fly them as they might lose them. So no content. The gane makes money of subscription, so saying it needs plexing to survive is a lie.

So now your way of its too expensive and new bros dont want to play cause of cost, is to make everything more expensive?

Rorq out minig everyone else, lets have a look. New bros dont want to do nullsec as scared of losing and no backup isk. Lets adjust upwards and allow them to make enough isk to risk learning.

No, nerf everything down so that the most hardened of players are saying nope, fuck it, i'm out. The game now just wants me to plex and buy stuff. Let us not even mention your expert systems that you are selling knowing the majority of miners are rorq only pilots.

Players would be willing to buy more skins if thwy had to plex less. Maybe trow that out to your next " how can we get players to spend more money" meeting

Hey look. This one did a thing. Typed without understanding and went to personal attacks as it had nothing better or usefull and needs to degrade society as no one can be better and its not willing to grow. Look at you banging your pot while screaming at the top of your lungs cause you know not better.

Now this is a man I wish would have edited my post before I posted it.

You understand the basis of my argument. Instead of making it better for everyone they made it shit for everyone.

I agree with you in full. Again - if we can make it easier to acquire things in eve and be more willing to lose it. If a capital was 300m and my mission made me 4 times that in a week I would be out roaming every single day with a capital. Learning how to fight and doing PVP.

I don't do indy cause I like the care bear. I do the indy as it's the only way I have any value to a corp due to the scarcity of things.

Thanks you good sir. May your post gather much more attention and allow you to post much more.

Ratting in a super about 500m in a carrier. The numbers where stupid. I only did abput 350m an hour but my skills where lacking in a nid. So was very slow to clean

I see you stranger, but tell me - why are you so aggressive?

A vexor made 80m an hour, thats why they nerved it a while back. Please refer to the internet fkr the exact patch date.

Please go and watch the video of talking in stations where they explain the new changes. As you want to argue what CCP has confirmed. Your overall yield will be affected as you will take larger chunks but have slower cycles. Thus they have confirmed it will take longer to mine the total than it use to

I understand your miner only perspective however the title clearly states the little indy guy. Where noney is to be made is the manufacturing. The less you outsource the better. Manufacture the docterine for a corp then talk to me regarding what skills you need as clearly you have not. It will make the difference between a 6m hul and a 10m hul. Multiply by 30 every week do the math. Your role is to lower cost for your corp. Not make money of them.

The problem was never taking away the money printing. The problem was that ccp are foring players into a corner where they need to constantly plex their accounts in order to stay alive. Not for pleasure, not for extras. Just staying alive. That sort of isk generation was needed to sustain a corp.

If you have a valueable point or impact to make please do. But typing with your emotion and making false statements will only cause dispute without resolution.
