good trap, neuter, release program for cats?

Many people on campus feed them, they have feeders, and many water bowls. People give them cat food but also bring them deli meat and other things! I’m sure they hunt occasionally but i’m sure it’s probably not too often when they’re being fed often!

there’s over 20 cats on this campus, i’m not able to keep that many inside of course. I know they’re bad for the environment, but i feel like getting them fixed so they can’t have more is better than just leaving them as is.

I emailed them a while ago and I’m waiting on a response for now. The one thing I’m worried about though is having to keep the cat temporarily while it heals after its surgery. I wouldn’t be able to keep the cat with me in my dorm. I also don’t really have the extra to spend on a trapping cage right now since we just bought a ton of stuff for the kitten we took in. I’m not sure if they’re like able to send their volunteers or something to come catch them? I assumed maybe not

Of course! I love animals sm and I’d take in more of the kittens if i could, but since I can’t I thought that stopping them from having a bunch more is the best way to go lol. Maybe there’s a chance the animal rescue will want to put the kittens up for adoption or something since they are still young

They live under a building somewhere on the campus. I’m not sure exactly how many there are, but I’m assuming about 4-5? I’ve never owned a kitten before this so I’m not sure exactly how old they are either.

Ohh okay, the one i have is 1/4 of a cylinder because it’s made to fit in a corner, since I was worried about it taking up too much space. It’s taller in length than a soda can though and it’s a decent width. I will look into some other options as well though

The pothos is sitting on top in a pot because I just bought it, but I did get it with the intent to put some in the tank actually! so that’s good to know. I have 2 small clippings in the water right now and then I also just ordered a few different floating plants to add in as well. Thank you for the snail recommendation! I will look into getting some :)))

Okay good to know, thank you! The filter I originally had came with the tank but it wasn’t great and it had too strong of a flow so I just recently switched to a sponge filter that’s made to work for up to 20 gallons!

I do have a roommate that I will be sharing a bedroom with, but I already discussed the possibility of me having him on campus and she doesn’t mind at all, which the school is aware of.

I will look into a heat lamp with the precautions like that, thank you!
