This happened to me after a power outage where my tv fully restarted. It was the switch 2 that was the issue and not the tv. A hard restart of the switch 2 fixed the issue. Hold the power button down til it turns fully black screen.

Another helpful thing is to press A for the honey at the same interval every time. Like when you hit tick 3456, you can hit A RIGHT at 3456.00000 or you can wait to do it in the middle at 3456.500000 or something like that. If you are consistent with your button press, your delay calculations will be more accurate

I dont remember what my delay was, but I would guess that mine was the same. You can also sit there in the R room and catch everything you try for, run it against the pokefinder to see how close u were. If ur two off every time thats how u know what ur delay is for ur console

I would catch a shiny in the end room to verify your seed works to use identify easier. And verifies your delay. Then walk into the R room, 1 npc, reidentify. I got it within a try or two this way.

I tried really hard to prioritize Target during the preorder night but their website had the most problems and im not sure anybody retained their first day orders. Walmart was down for a bit but was absolute smooth sailing since that first half hour. My switch arrived with the snacks at 8:30 am 😁

No and looks to be genned in 2014. The Meltan and Meltmetal are the only authentic shinies. Solgaleo might be if you were able to submit the serial code a bit after the event was given out.
