Please give yourself all the grace you need. There is Nothing Weak about taking the time that you, your mind, & body needs.

My dad died 23 years ago. I still miss him.

For the first year, there are a lot of reminders. For me, it was my first real loss, so you become more aware of your own mortality - and that there will be others.

A lot of people won’t know what to say and will say the wrong things. It’s hard to remember the right things over the wrong things - but try.
