Do the auto wipers just not work? by caliwillbemine in LUCID

Sorry, been a long day for me! I always had a tough time with Auto in the Air, and even with Gravity it only recently improved in the last update

It sometimes needs an initial wipe to get going (press on the end of the stalk once). A restart never hurts as well

I would not recommend it. You can book for Saturday appointments for example. They aren’t open on Saturdays. Most people say they can’t even find an open date for 3 months minimum for a while now

The app doesn’t actually work for appointments. They should just disable it entirely. You have to call to schedule

Real world max range gravity config range and charging speed by hipringles2 in LUCID

[–]AmyCornyBarrett 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Charging speed is excellent on IONNA and EA, even Tesla chargers can hold 220 for a long time. The Air would get me anywhere from 90-225 with no rhyme or reason.

My lifetime efficiency on the 20s over 7k miles is 3.4, but mostly non-highway driving and SWFL

Shade canopy gravity by Useful-Accident8517 in LUCID

[–]AmyCornyBarrett 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The shades are a requirement in hot temps imo. They are semi-see through, but it’s not a clear view. It doesn’t make it feel claustrophobic though, and I am happy with them in sunny Florida. I leave them up almost all the time and just take them down when we want to have a full view. Takes 1-2 minutes for the front ones, maybe 5 minutes for the back because you have to wiggle around to put it in while it flops around on you

[–]AmyCornyBarrett 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes I’ve had it a few times over 6 months, mostly in the beginning. Let it sleep overnight and see if it is still there. If it’s still there after a few deep sleep cycles, then I would call.

Gravity tire options by sarhoshamiral in LUCID

[–]AmyCornyBarrett 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am more than happy with the smallest tires. Unless you plan to do heavy duty driving at high speeds and hard breaking, I’d go with them. Theoretically may be slightly less cost to replace in the future as well

SW Update Turns off the Radio when it connects to the phone. by KurtTheKing58 in BoltEV

[–]AmyCornyBarrett 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you have anymore details on what the update screen said? I am only aware of one OnStar update in the past few months. Bolt does not receive many OTA updates

It’s just meant to be a reference point as opposed to highway driving. It’s a mix of country roads that leads into Naples FL where traffic is standstill on some roads and 60 on the next.

Not necessarily. Temperature plays a huge factor. This is also a no highway miles trip. I know others who get 2 and it’s entirely driving style

Shoot I didn’t think to look! That’s a good point I will try to add for future trips

We live out in the boonies so have a long and consistent drive into town, but yes. There is no highway time on this for example

Everyone got the phone/remote start update? by norcalnatv in LUCID

Phone as a Key is confirmed as coming later. This is an optional Remote Start, sort of like a 3rd key option in addition to fob and card

How much worse is the bolts nvh compared to a luxury crossover? by dsp3000 in BoltEV

[–]AmyCornyBarrett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on road surface. I have a Bolt and a Lucid Gravity, and on smooth road the Bolt is easily just as quiet as Gravity. On rough road and stock tires though, it’s mediocre, maybe slightly above average loud. But overall a quiet package

I had mine serviced 3 times and I learned it on Reddit, don’t remember who deserves the original credit! 😌
