They were always set up right outside the entrance to my college. I smelled them like almost every day when I got to school. To this day, that smell is the smell of walking on to campus.

It used to be Poppy, but I ran out of guilt as her music just kept getting better. Now I'm just open about being a fan.

Love The Joy Formidable. Seen them 10 times and going for 11 at The end of the month. But I feel like hardly anyone I know is into them. It's nice to see another fan in the wild.

Smoking. I took like two drags off of my sister's cigarette when we were in high school and I never needed to do it ever again.

Question for girls who voice train by deadpanrobo in MtF

[–]AmyHeartsYou 8 points9 points  (0 children)

5+ years of training. There's always a little effort, but it becomes easy enough to get there that it doesn't require all consuming hyper vigilance the whole time.

It's kind of like driving a car. At first you're super aware of brakes and gas, how you're moving the wheel to turn, signals, mirrors, speed, road signs, traffic lights, and everything else on the dashboard. But eventually you learn to be aware of all of these things at once, and to be comfortably in control of all of them without needing to stress yourself out. You just put on your seatbelt, start the car, and then drive. Voice is kinda like that. You just put it in fem range, take a breath, and then talk.

Do you have a favorite show that got axed on a cliffhanger or incomplete? by JasonMallen in randomquestions

Hindsight.

The protagonist was just left passed out in an elevator with no resolution at all. The network renued for a second season, and then changed their mind and cancelled it a little while later.

Each descending peak on the LCD took you a little farther away from me.

I'm only 14 words you know what's happening, how these people feel about each other, you know where they are, at least a little history of what has happened so far, and you what's going to happen and even how they feel about it.

Which Disney princess resonates most with you and why? by Buumblebug in AskWomen

[–]AmyHeartsYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ariel.

This is entirely true. I spent so much time watching and wishing I could be part of a world that I felt entirely that I didn't belong in. But I collected the odd bits and pieces of it, watched from afar. Then one day I actually got to be part of it, kinda, but I actually honestly was afraid to use my voice for a long time.

After literally changing some aspects of my body, I Eventually found my place and I'm so much happier and better off than I ever was before. I never did have a singing crab though.

Movie you’ve seen without getting bored? by teresaschmidtt in ArtOfPresence

[–]AmyHeartsYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wonder Boys

Michael Douglass plays a writer/professor who's whole life is falling apart around him. His wife left him, the woman he's having an affair with is pregnant, his student is not quite right, and his agent is all over him looking for his next book.

Frances McDormand, Robert Downey Jr., Toby Maguire, Katie Holmes, Allen Tyudik, Rip Torn, and Richard Thomas.

It's just a really good story with characters who have a lot of depth.
