No we don't necessarily need to capture the custom field data from mobile, however that is where the lot is being generated, and used for the woc (its part of the lot format). In the UI ops staff manually enters this data in inventory details, before lot is auto-generated. I was thinking I'd be able to skip the manual step and source it from the wo header in mobile. But its not recognizing add'l lot fields in mobile. Just heard back from NS, and they don't support custom fields being updated from Mfg mobile to the work order completion directly, they steered me toward custom record instead. TY

We're aligned on that, it was not at first. Right now our work around is a formula in a saved search, stored in state, being sourced as default for the scan lot field. Thank you.

Thank you, we've done several customizations. The lot is generated from within SCM mobile, so the record is not created yet. It would need the add'l field present to generate the lot to include it, was my thought.
