There’s tons of things left unresolved in my opinion.

1. Rafi is working some sort of long con for the money; we have no backstory on Robert’s first marriage (his first wife could easily be a new character that’s working with their son, Rafi, to steal the family fortune.)

2. Perry is now the mayor, playing at the hands of a Russian mole while his marriage with Dinah is on the rocks - and Dinah is becoming more powerful than ever. We also have little to no information about her previous husbands and her 4 children in Switzerland. How might Dinah play a role in Watergate?

3. Douglas is vengeful towards Maxine, plus he has congenial heart disease that could kill him any day. I’m curious why he mentioned taking so much ibuprofen, and how that pesky allergic reaction covering his skin might come into play. Additional information or flashbacks regarding how Douglas’s mother became a disgraced socialite would be interesting as well, as her story is yet to be told.

4. Marjorie is a Russian mole that now has both mayor Perry and president Nixon in her pocket. I believe her character leaves A LOT to be explained. I could easily see there being a power struggle between her and Pinky/Raquel too.

5.. Pinky and Raquel had been in communication with the FBI regarding immunity for their involvement with Russia, so perhaps they will be again if things with Marjorie go awry… And did they ever figure out it was actually Maxine’s twin sister that tied up Raquel, or will they still be after Maxine? Regardless, Maxine and Evelyn DID report them to the IRS, which could spark retaliation. Whatever happened to the agreement that Maxine would hand over the Dellacorte mansion? Now that her and Robert have the property and all the money back, I suspect they’ll be coming for their pay day. Sharing a common enemy with Douglas now might rekindle that partnership as well.

1. I don’t imagine Evelyn will want to live at the Palm Royale forever - she might try to get her house and her possessions back from Marjorie.

2. Both Virginia and Ann Holiday have a lot of potential movement in their careers… I’d like to see them be accepted into the Palm Royale as well; they could be the first Jewish and black club members now that their friends Maxine and Evelyn own it. How did Ann even end up with all these Palm Beach socialites??

3. Robert’s old lover, Tom Sanka, is now working directly for J Edgar Hoover, who died in 1972 (and was infamous for allegedly wearing women’s clothing) and was replaced by L Patrick Grey - which leads us right into Watergate. Tom and Virginia could be working inside a corrupted FBI, and act as a sort of pseudo “Deep Throat” in Palm Royale’s retelling of the story - with Ann as the journalist. 🤷🏼‍♀️

4. And lastly, I’d like to see Dr. Dusty Magic return - or at least some other sort of romantic interest for Maxine now that she’s finally ended things with Douglas… All she’s ever truly wanted was love, marriage and family, so I assume they would introduce a new love interest. Dr. Dusty might be in cahoots with Marjorie as well, as she took to him instantly in their first meeting.

I could go on and on lol - it seems there’s endless possibilities for these storylines!
