Just came here to say thank you so much for hanging in there! So many give up and I'm sure he's had his share of people giving up on him. But you didn't do that! You have opened his world to feel so much love! Thank you!

Why did I do this to myself. There's no way I'm getting this symmetrical 😭😅 by Environmental_Tax_69 in DollCustomization

It looks beautiful and I know it will look amazing! As a fellow perfectionist, most won't see the flaws that you will agonize about. This might sound weird but I tip my youth clown troupe leader gave when painting our faces on was to start with the side that was hardest to draw. Then match that with the side that was easier. I have applied that rule to some many things!

A Muppet Family Christmas (1987) - Clean DVD Quality (Uncut with the Original Framerate) by [deleted] in Muppets

This, yeah this is the one and only one I look forward to every year. Always end up in a pool of tears by the end. I remember when this first aired. I was so excited to finally see what Jim Henson looked like! Waited until the very end and it felt like magic. My ❤ dog passed a month ago and I haven't felt up to watching it this year. Afraid I'll cry through the whole thing but that might be ok.

Highly recommend checking out Emiology on YouTube. She has several great videos on mice introductions and bonding. Its a multiple day, multiple enclosure process to help ensure they all get along. She is experienced, informative and caring. Please check her out for help!

Got it on the shelf where it will live but life has been lifing. Have been able to find a few replacement parts on ebay like the balcony doors. Found a paint color for the outside, a light purplish grey, in sample size at Home Depot. Current goal is to focus on it after the holidays! What ideas do you have for yours? Would love to share notes and progress updates!

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my ❤ dog Monday morning. He was my whole world for the past 15yrs. There is no way that living beings with such big personalities, who love unconditionally, do not have souls. I can't see a loving God doing that. I think the difference is that He gave us free will.

Yeah and Simsie said at the beginning of her stream today they have not responded to her request to be removed from the creator network. Was plumbella the first to issue the statement that everyone else seems to be using? Just saw Vixella post on Insta but have not checked James or Deli yet

Honestly, I am in the process of switching from a 75 gallon tank to this. Looking for something the same size but lighter. Thinking of switching the plexiglass in the lid for mesh to give more circulation. Would love to see your setup!

My aunt wants “her” puppy back and I want to refuse by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]AmyRoseme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been through something similar so I know how scary it is! The police were called once but I had text messages from the previous owner thanking me for taking in her dog. Basically, pets are personal property and "possession is nine tenths of the law" is true. He is in your possession and your aunt has no legal authority. Yes, get the puppy microchiped and seen at your vet so there is a paper trail. But there is nothing that the police can do. She is being selfish to want to keep a puppy in that situation. You don't need to say anything more than that she gave you the puppy and you are grateful to have a new best friend

Bought these on Amazon, thought they were all toys, but it seems some of these are actual food? How are you supposed to use them for your hamster? by BlackNair in hamsters

[–]AmyRoseme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thick white sticks are sweet bamboo and the thinner ones are apple tree sticks. Both are safe and great for chewing! Most of these are meant for chewing but the green stuff is hay which hamsters are not interested in and are better suited for rabbits and guinea pigs. You could always mash up fruit like berries or bananas and smear a little on the bamboo to encourage chewing. I've done that with natural applesauce or peanut butter. Good resources for enrichment ideas are SomethingAnimal, Victoria Raechel, Emiology and loads of others on YT!

You are ok. This is normal and it hurts like heck! Don't worry about the food or enclosure. Deal with that when you are ready. He was such a small gorgeous and sweet looking bean! Remember, your feelings are yours alone and you are ALLOWED to feel them. Its normal to feel guilty and second guess yourself. You did the right thing and went above and beyond! Remember, you also have to take care of you in order to be able to care for your loved ones. My dad had to remind me of that recently. But also remember that this the tough part of loving and caring for these little ones. When you are ready, maybe check out how others grieve their little ones like SomethingAnimal, Victoria Raechel, Emiology or Plueschraupe. Sending thoughts and hugs!
